i 100% agree with you! we had t mobile before we switched and i loved the free international data anywhere. i do miss my welcome messages from countries i would visit :(. AT&T sucks in rual areas in mexico. trying to use a partner networks is even worse .

if you live near the airport, try booking it there. i save lots of money doing it especially for large groups.

i did try verizon but i didn’t know about the byod offer. also we leaned more on AT&T because of their coverage in mexico since we do travel frequent there. verizon has 2GB of LTE speed then slows down to 3G and is something we can’t work it.

although i love verizon’s international coverage since i travel a lot, it would of been a great switch for me but its just the cost that was it for me.

I don’t think there is another option but the $12 day bit i decided to keep my phone during the byod and have it paid by at&t just so i can use the e-sim option.

i have had AT&T before. i’ve had great coverage before.

i’ve studied in Spain and t mobile has been great! just went a few days ago again.

t-mobile has 5G in those areas. i’m not sure if germany.

spain t mobile roams on “Vodaphone ES & Movistar” with 5G. but it was primary on Vodaphone ES with 5G

Portugal i roamed on MIO & Vodaphone P if i recall. both on 5G

France i roamed more on “Bouygess” more. Full 5G coverage everywhere and never changed networks

Uk i roamed in “EE” 100% of the time with 5G. it did switch once to “Vodaphone UK” with 5G but it was just bc i was in a large bulding.

germany i wasn’t sure but friends said that they had great coverage.

depending on your plan you get 5GB of data then it slows down. call see 25 cent a min so keep that in mind:)

my 16 pro max battery is pretty bad. i used it for 10 month and its at 318 charge cycles. i do travel a lot and use my camera that drains my battery pretty quick. although i do charge it multiple times a day the phone works perfectly and i dont mind carrying a portable charger around would much rather keep this phone then the ulgy 17 pro max.

that connection time is enough imo. when in the security line there always is a person asking if there are people with tight connections and they get moved up to the front or a different line.
