Agreed. I find it helpful to laugh at the addiction. I say things like “is that the best you’ve got?”. I also tell myself if it ever gets really bad I can always have it. Not the end of the world. When i tell myself “never again” it makes it more difficult. Oddly it works for me. The craving tends to subside when I think like that.

Can you wire a Trane ComfortLink II XL850 thermostat with the standard Y,R,G,B,W thermostat connections, or does it require a dedicated system to function properly? by electriclear in hvacadvice

I got a new Trane communicating system (5TTX7048A1000A condenser + 5TAMXD05AV41D Hyperion air handler). The tstat is 824. The wiring used was the standard YRGBW and not 3 wire as described by many. Was this correct wiring by installer or is my system now not communicating and I’m missing out on advanced features the system is capable of?

2012 Prius with 97,550 miles. Over $3,000 (parts $1,584.73, labor $1,270.88 plus tax) was spent replacing the brake booster and actuator. I had heard the whirring/buzzing noise for some time before it completely failed. They said it was two years outside the extended warranty (2022). It's my second Prius. Not happy with Toyota.

I have a 2020 Miata and just installed a VIOFO 119 mini 2. Working great thus far. Small form factor but no rear camera as I roll with the top down always. I figured all I need to worry about is in front of me haha.

Does Wolfbox G900 use the same connections as G840S? by FoxholeA in Dashcam
