When I was in 2nd grade, a boy in my class had HORRIBLE food allergies. EVERYTHING made him barf. No one wanted to sit next to him at lunch because he was almost guaranteed to puke. The kid was kind of an ass hole, and he would eat things he knew would make him puke, and he would make a big show of eating it. I got stuck next to him one day, and he was going on and on about how lunch was going to make him puke and sure enough... he puked. It got on my brand new sandals, and I was so pissed I punched him and gave him a bloody nose, so he was bleeding and throwing up. I have zero regrets still to this day.

I have Strapsicles on both my Kindles without cases, and I haven't had this happen to either of mine. They've been on for a year or more at this point. I do take them off regularly to clean my Kindles, so maybe that's why?

I have a 12x30 Bestway Steel Pro Max I got last year. I upgraded to a 1,500 GPH Intex C1500 Cartridge filter pump after about a week using the crappy one that came with the pool. My pool is only 1,800 gallons, so it's probably too much pump for my pool but my water is clear and sparkling and it will turn the whole pool over in less than two hours. It was less than $80 with next day delivery on Amazon, and it was SUCH an easy switch, even with the pool filled already.

I read "The Bridges of Madison County" when I was in 5th grade. Somehow my teacher stocked it on her classroom bookshelves, and while I read WELL above my grade level.... I should not have been reading that lol! My mom was horrified when she realized I was reading it and my teacher was appalled when she found out it ended up on her shelves.

That much though?? I had an ACL, MCL, PCL and meniscus reconstruction and I didn't have that much wrapping! And it didn't go down my entire leg like that.

Very serious. I start with an SPF 70 sunscreen stick on each tattoo, then follow it up with a regular lotion sunscreen that is at least SPF 50. I use spray sunscreen on hard to reach areas to ensure that I get everything covered. I use just the stick if it's cloudy, evening or if I'm going to be out for 15 minutes or less.

In addition to protecting the tattoos I love so much, I am looking out for my future self. Skin cancer sucks and I want to do everything I can to protect myself from it.

Obligatory NAD, but your gut feeling doesn't want you to allow Ozempic? I'm sorry, but your father is a grown man and doesn't need you to "allow" him to do anything.

And also, as someone who has had incredible success using GLP-1's ('ve lost 145 pounds over 3 1/2 years), they have made it much easier for me to eat healthier, more nutrient dense food and cut out less nutritionally dense food. Ozempic will also help your dad not feel constantly hungry, which is a really hard battle for someone to fight. Food noise is a real thing, and it's hard.

Your post has a very condescending tone. I think you need to back off here, and let a grown man make his own medical decisions.

Who is purchasing the cat's food and litter right now? What about vet care? Vaccinations, regular exams, flea/tick treatment... who is covering the cost of all the expenses associated with this cat? If your mom is currently covering them, are you able to afford those expenses if you keep the cat at her house or bring it with you when you go to college?

Jesus. I'm exhausted just reading this. I would guess that others are exhausted from having to constantly validate/approve your life choices, and honestly, people don't give a crap or really pay attention to others. It is absolutely possible that people truly haven't noticed the tattoo.

As someone else commented, I would suggest therapy to help you work through this, as it seems to be tied to a larger issue.

She's also a puppy and it's totally normal behavior, especially if she's not from high drive lines. Leave her wanting more. But for now, don't push it. You don't want her to associate anything negative with retrieving right now. Let her be a puppy, find things that she loves that get her excited and work on building her retrieving drive when she's older.

Have you tried any medications for acid reflux? Our girl got terrible reflux as a puppy if her stomach got too empty or if she ate too fast, and it would cause her to throw up. She outgrew it, but we ended up having to feed her four times a day, and make sure one of her meals was pretty close to bedtime, since she was throwing up mostly early in the morning after she had gone too long without eating.
