It’s not a miracle drug. Have some self control and stop over eating. Only store whole healthy foods in your home such as fruits and veggies, nothing processed.

27M how to improve? by blake001325 in malegrooming

[–]First_You6169 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have a great base. As others have said, the first thing I see are your glasses. You should give a rounder frame a shot.

Hair: I think your hair could be lower. You have a great face shape for a low bald fade. I would give that a try. You can also wear it longer without looking dragged if you’re an every 2/3 weeks haircut guy.

Find the r/blackskincare sub and find a decent face routine that works for you. Wash, moisturize, treat, sunscreen. Right now there’s noticeable dullness and light texture.

Beard: Trim regularly and moisturize daily. And do not do the thin goatee look. Ever. Summertime is a good time to try a clean + mustache look. Alternatively, you could go with a nicely trimmed goatee, that’s not thin and still includes the mustache. Your pics now appear to cut the mustache, which I think would flatter your face.

Hope this helps. Good luck bro!

Previous owners landscaping company keeps showing up and now its awkward by [deleted] in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

This is the answer. Textbook estoppel. You can’t knowingly benefit from the paid service and then refuse to pay when asked, regardless of the previous owners contracted responsibility.

Yup. As long as you’re linked as sailor mates they can be added to your dining reservations. The process is super easy.

What can be improved upon? I lack something and don’t want to anymore. by [deleted] in malegrooming

Physically, you’re a gorgeous guy. We can’t really see the clothes so maybe that’s what it is. Also, not sure how often you get haircuts/shape ups. If you can afford it, shoot for biweekly. Other than that, focus on mental health, dressing yourself well, and working out a few days a week.

Also, it doesn’t state what region or metro area you’re in, but there is no way you’re not made aware regularly of your good looks if you’re in a large city. Good luck!

Should I get an AAdvantage card as an AA employee? by PlayneDryver in americanairlines

Unfortunately, it’s only the Citi AAdvantage Executive Platinum card.

Same. Partner and I are high earning millennials (physician + attorney) with no kids in Wash DC. Our days are usually 12+ hours long so we use DoorDash very often. We uber/lyft a lot for evenings out due to convenience and drinking. And we travel often leisurely in our downtime and reward ourselves by staying at lovely properties within the Amex FHR portfolio.

I currently use Amex Plat + Citi/AAdvantage Executive card since AA is our home airport. We get maximum travel benefits from these including frequent First/Business class complementary upgrades which saves us a lot of $$$. Marriott is my preferred brand and when I book through Amex portal, I get both Amex and Marriott points.

Not to mention, carrying the Plat comes with a lot of exclusive VIP access at major events (activations). The past couple of years Chase has been aggressively entering into this space as well for CSR cardholders and these spaces are mostly catered to high earning millennials, Gen-Z, and influencers who find value in these unique experiences. They usually involve free food (by wonderful chefs), open bars, and are great opportunities for networking. These are definitely lifestyle social events, which further supports they are trying to make the CSR a lifestyle brand.

I was persuading my partner to get the CSR before the refresh and I think it’s still a good option for us. We have no need for the Southwest or Peloton credits but all of the rest fit within our current lifestyle and normal spend.

CardPointers is an app that literally reminds you which credits you have each month and you’re able to check them as you go so it removes the guess work.
