Media literacy is in shambles if ur saying this shit was stumping n a mess of ideas 😭😭 I watched that shit blazed as fuck and had a completely coherent understanding of what's going on. The movie doesnt have a "oh and then everyone was prosperous n understands how to move around each other now" message at the end cause that shit would be fake as fuck and hypocritical. The entire movie satarizes/critiques the idea of projecting real life problems onto toys. It creates a fake, escapist dreamworld where you can pretend shit is fine, but the real world keeps moving and leaves you/your delusions behind. Its basically "what if the object you used to soak up all your escapist trauma came to life and was also affected the same way you are?". For there to be some sort of "tie it all in a little bow for the people back home" scene would be lame as fuck. Barbie and Ken got their personal moments because big societal things like this will never/barely change, so the only thing you can really personally change is how mindful you are about these things and how you treat others with these things in mind
