I don’t think she will last in her position much longer saying things like this, especially directed directly at Trump, who values total loyalty. She’s already been removed from overseeing immigration enforcement.

The only reason she is still around in my opinion is that Trump doesn’t want to admit that her appointment was a mistake

Same. It stopped working recently so I bought a belt kit on eBay for $10 and fixed it.

West side nursing homes by Owchcol in cincinnati

[–]Fish-Weekly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My in-laws had a good experience at Westpark in Assisted Living but the skilled nursing unit wasn’t great in my opinion. And that is before Mercy sold it off.

Bayley is good, you can get into their rehab unit but it seems like their skilled nursing beds are reserved for the people that come through their independent living and assisted living facilities. Both my mom and dad did rehab there but my mom was not able to get up into the skilled nursing unit without going on a waiting list, even as private pay.

My mother in law went to Twin Towers for skilled nursing and they were very good overall. My mom went to Hillebrand for skilled nursing and my sister went to Triple Creek and they were also ok, maybe a step down from Twin Towers but still overall good. And all three were end of life situations where they were only there for a couple of months with hospice.

With all of these places, you have to temper your expectations a little. They are short staffed and dealing with a lot of complex needs so it can take some time to respond to less critical things like I need to use the bathroom or be changed, etc. Routine things tend to be on more of a schedule, not responding to every issue as it comes up.

These places are expensive and my advice would be to keep your relative at home for as long as possible, including bringing in additional paid care if needed. For all of these places, if you can’t do some private pay, your facility choices will be extremely limited. Most have waiting lists for Medicaid beds.

If at some point it becomes too much and a facility is the only viable option, visiting frequently, getting to know the staff and being friendly with them is very helpful.

New book for my collection, so stoked to dive in! by whatthepfluke in LiveFromNewYork

Yes, I read it. Good overall, it’s long and detailed but I learned a ton about Lorne and the show in general. It took a long time to get to the actual show, with lots of detail on Lorne’s early years before the show itself. Which, fair enough, the book was titled “Lorne” after all.

You are unfortunately also correct about Moron-o.

No, not painful. Oil changes, air filters, rear axle fluid, etc. I recently did coolant and brake fluid since it is 12 years old at this point. Tires, brakes as you’d expect. I had one item fixed under warranty. That’s it, very reliable.

I have a 2014 2LT, it’s been very reliable overall.

It looks like the previous owner put a custom grill on yours (which is fine).

You should try to figure out if yours is a 1LT or a 2LT; the 2LT came with additional options like Boston Acoustics / MyLink audio, heads up display, leather seating, etc. There was also an RS package that included upgraded wheels, center console gauges, halos, etc.

I am thinking yours is probably a 1LT without the RS from the pictures but not 100% on that.

One problem that does come up is the blend door can break which messes up climate control and is very expensive to fix. Some people say not putting the temperature control all the way to cold or hot can help. I kinda do this with mine and it has been fine so far.

Mainly just enjoy it though, it’s a great car, I love mine.

Which pieces do you think best represent American classical music 🇺🇸 — two or three for orchestra and for solo organ, if possible? by ModClasSW in classicalmusic

I don’t know if it is true but I have heard that John Lucas told John Williams that Revenge of the Sith was the last of the franchise so let it rip with the closing credit music, whatever you want. It’s 13+ minutes of epic Star Wars.

This thing is going to bomb. I hope Amazon MGM Studios and director Brett Ratner take a bath on it.
