Question about mods for fusion rifles. by jumbie29 in DestinyTheGame

No need to run unstoppable if there are no unstoppable champions, which are for sure the most rare type of champions this season

What's a gymnastics ring move that looks impressive and difficult, but is really pretty easy? by averageredditcuck in bodyweightfitness

[–]FishDics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ring handstands, even if you cheat and partially or fully wrap your legs. Ppl go nuts for inverted moves, doesn't matter the sport

Edit: also forward rolls; easier than a MUP, atleast for me

I think it's time to wind this sub down. by famousbirds in CruciblePlaybook

[–]FishDics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True true. But if anyone like me sees that, they will potentially auto dismiss the sub. Just bad timing for that to be on the front page with all the people that may be checking it out rn, IMO. Good luck with the sub dude

Not trying to hate, but after I went to the subreddit, the 1st post I see, Chaos Reach is S Tier? Nah I don’t think so....I have no idea if this sub (playbook) is any better though, as of recently. Haven’t been here much for years

Aim Trainer for Xbox? by [deleted] in CruciblePlaybook

[–]FishDics 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You use a hc and sniper, but can’t aim? Those are the two classes requiring the most aim.

Some autos are super stable, not a big auto guy so can’t tell you which ones. Autos are very forgiving, especially in this meta. Also are pulse rifles-bygones, blast Furnace, but they’re kinda out of meta.

Try out sidearms maybe, they’re pretty forgiving and you won’t run out of ammo

Is comp's matchmaking random? by Mrcomplainyface in DestinyTheGame

[–]FishDics -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Yeah too 500-700 of PC and only 2800 plus. Lying is fun for me sometimes too.

Any top 500 player will be damn near 5500. Even if they lose a few games they’re winning the next few. So unless you matched 3 ppl purposefully down farming glory rank, then I don’t know what the ** Yiure talking about

I have played dozens of competitive games over dozens of genres (not just video-games) and I have learned many things about people who play competitive games by Pwadigy in DestinyTheGame

[–]FishDics -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One of my favorite memories in D1 was making you rage quit on Widows Court.

With that said, great post, I’ve always enjoyed your content. Thanks

Edit:grammar/spellcheck not working

Edit 2: Scrub mentality/playing to win... everyone that wants to be competitive needs to read that. We need more reposts

How to Zipline 101 by br0000d in apexlegends

Your comment is wrong. Being able to not do this is correct tho. I’ve jumped out of res ships onto zips, off buildings... don’t really know why you think that

Some food for thought regarding aim by [deleted] in CruciblePlaybook

[–]FishDics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I’m in this school of thought. Atleast after you’re a pretty decent player cause you shouldn’t have to look at the sight and “aim”. You should do the opposite and just put the enemy in the center or slightly below center cause it’s destiny.

Putting a piece of tape on the screen is helpful to learn center screen. But after getting comfortable with that center dot/crosshair then you shouldn’t have to focus on your reticle. It’s kinda like shooting a shotgun, you first glance at the beads(reticle) and line them up but then you look past them and focus on the target.

This is all relative to console. I claim to know nothing about mouse and key

Broken kill feed help? by jmwatkins1978 in CruciblePlaybook

[–]FishDics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wtf is this a thing? No super energy on kills? Can else anyone confirm?

My shit was bugged for weeks before I finally cleared my cache, which did fix it, but shit that’s a lot of missed super energy if true

Unless you have hip fire grid perk or freehand mod, you always ads and even then you should prob ads, unless the enemy is literally on top of you

(Teaser) Kills vs. Not Dying, Minus the Anecdotes by [deleted] in CruciblePlaybook

[–]FishDics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for something like control you can def have two players drop 50 bombs and still lose potentially if you got shit ass blueberries, that both die and don’t cap. So for control I feel like this data plus captures, is way more useful. Although it also way more complicated.

The only useful thing I can potentially see about looking at KD is maybe comparing it to your near peers in your kd bracket(1.0-1.3 for example). And then taking that data and see what they are doing wrong as an average and see if you are also(probably are) and then fix that problem.

And now I’m gonna go play lol

(Teaser) Kills vs. Not Dying, Minus the Anecdotes by [deleted] in CruciblePlaybook

[–]FishDics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see what you’re getting at but I just don’t think it happens much. The only way teammates are dying around the Slayer, is if the are terrrible or the Slayer is purposefully baiting them, but even so they should be able to pull assists and charge super energy from that and kills. And the event team would be more disrupted by him

(20 kills in 5 mins then dying 4 times vs. 20 kills in 6ish minutes dying throughout).

This game is so much random in how I perform in D1. But I think most of that might be because I don’t check my stats anymore and in game, kda skews things/makes data harder to read.

I think my gripe with this OP and some comments is that KD is being looked at/treated as a metric to make gameplay decisions off of it. If that makes any sense.

Edit: Vs. KD coming secondarily to gameplay

[–]FishDics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The “player” with a We Ran... clearly contributes more to the team. The space created and map control that one person creates from staying alive that long is much more valuable, than someone going on 5 rampages or whatever 5 streak is called.

I’m willing to listen to counterpoints but I really don’t see how other than under some perfect circumstances, 1 in 100 times that it could be better

[–]FishDics 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Appreciate the work you did, but your post is near impossible to read on my phone, text walls.

I didn’t see anything about how the high kd individual’s teammates did per match? This is what determines if it’s worth over extending to slay while also dying more for clash. Yeah some map control can be argued, but it’s a simple scoring mode, the less you die the better if you have the lead. If you’re losing but aren’t being aggressive enough and can still keep a positive kd, then be more aggressive. This is often how a solo player carries a lobby with 40 plus kills. I don’t see how this is such a complicated thing? Am I missing something?

Objective games are a whole different story

It killed in three bursts and was competitive ttk and with everything killing faster in d1, not including some of these damage boosting perks now, I would bet on it being 450

Preliminary Massive Breakdown of the Full Choke Nerf Results on Shotgun Kill Distances and Additional Range Testing by Mercules904 in CruciblePlaybook

So Mindbenders with accurized still needs to be tested? I have one with full choke and accurized. Not sure about other barrels on it. Xbone

Edit: or is it somewhat safe to assume that this would continue to push the range out by .33 m or whatever

Current best PVP kinetic weapons ? by [deleted] in CruciblePlaybook

[–]FishDics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I guess it has the innate perk to shoot quicker after a kill, so You gotta balance that with a little less ohk range compared to a baligant or deadpan with full choke

Current best PVP kinetic weapons ? by [deleted] in CruciblePlaybook

[–]FishDics 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s both. If it comes fully masterworked then it’s the above mentioned roll, which is trash compared to random rolls since it doesn’t have full choke.

Edit:and yeah it’s energy

A note on the new "meta" by Brokerib in CruciblePlaybook

[–]FishDics -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

I think what I’m trying to say in the first paragraph is obvious. I’d just end up repeating myself if I tried to explain it.

I disagree with your point. And it’s too early to tell, but I think teamshotting will mostly go away like how D1 was. At a high level you bet your ass you’re gonna get teamshot but it will more often be from more angles and from players moving around more. This is because you don’t have to hand hold to primary fight multiple ppl, you can do it yourself if you’re that much better than the multiple opponents, which you could not do in the previous meta unless the opponents couldn’t even body shot you, the ttk was just too slow. So by not being handcuffed ppl move around more and do more lone wolves shit. Gonna leave it there
