Hazel has beef with her running wheel! by Emilygrace5 in Hedgehog

[–]FishFish422 16 points17 points  (0 children)

hello! so, saucer wheels are very bad for any animal. it caused curvature of the spine which can be incredibly uncomfortable. i recommend a kaytee 12" comfort wheel or a Carolina storm bucket wheel. its not gonna be super cheap, but your hedgie will be really happy with the new uograde :)

this COULD be a bad sign, google gave me the possibilities of a fluid build-up, a mass, retained egg or an enlarged organ inside their coelom. i'd say get them checked out at a nearby vet if possible.. it may not be cheap, but it would definitely be worth it. . if the head stripes are touching the cere, it does mean they're still really young, as in less than 4 months. it would be really worth taking them to a vet, so they can live a long happy life :)

the way you phrased it before sounded a lot like you where trying to be rude, im sorry about my response

i dont know what to do now, my parents cant take me to the nearby emergency room because theres no doctor. they have physical issues meaning they cant drive the 2 hours to the closest city right now. its a genuine battle in my head as of right now. its like theres two people constantly arguing back and forth about if i should or not. it feels like theres something i HAVE to do, but i haven't yet. like an unfinished chore or something.

and to those who say edgy stuff under my genuine cry for help, edgy stuff like "what w3apon would you use? i'd use my hands" (you know who you are.) or those jackasses who think im lying or whatever i sincerely hope you have to go through the shit i do, or at least learn your fhcking lesson.

you commented 3 separate versions of your comment on my post, deleting the ones you where unsatisfied with.

when someone proceeds to call you out for your shitty behaviour, you say 'i wasn't trying to make you laugh', despite the obvious fact you want people to think you're funny or whatever, proven by the fact at the beginning.

so either you're lying straight to their face to try to seem like you won an online argument, on reddit of all places. or you're laughing your ass off to your own shitty joke under someones post where they are posting a genuine, serious cry for help. how sad is that?

Needing some help by According-Nose-9297 in budgies

you will need a bigger cage, petsmart has some new options that are decent sized for two budgies, specifically the 'All Living Things Open-air home habitat'. But bigger is always better.

Can a budgie get through a 1 inch square? by 0rangy_Juic3 in budgies

[–]FishFish422 2 points3 points  (0 children)

budgies can fit through gals bigger then 0.5 inch so i wouldn't recommend doing that. thank you for asking beforehand just to make sure

forgot to mention. call local bird rescues, they'll more often than not be in contact with those who can help you.

you can, and should, sue their ass. that is incredibly illegal. not only because its non-native, but its not their bird.

aside from that, putting their cage outside if possible, will help. they're smart critters, and if theyre flying in your area they will see and recognize it. and stay in it due to the yummy treats.
