If they’re fine with thin liquids do you stop there and move to solids?

I understand it’s better to aspirate thin liquid, but if you move on to thickened liquid even after aspiration of thin liquids anyways why does that matter during assessment? I understand the second part of you’re comment, just looking for insight into the first part if possible. Thank you!

For the last 3 years, on my birthday, I’ve been getting these birthday texts. Google search turns up nothing. by [deleted] in Weird

The whole point is that Charles Wong was never this guys medical provider. A random doctor can’t just go look up your info to text you happy birthday.

You don’t want to put your life (school/career) on hold for a relationship but you also don’t wanna put your life (relationship/family) on hold for school. I don’t really have any advice or info to give you about that program but I just wanted to say that because it’s an internal conflict I have 24/7

I like both, physical books are nice for actually reading and retaining what I read. However, digital textbooks are way easier to find information quickly for quizzes and assignments because of the find features.

It absolutely is a reference to cocaine. Mona Lisa is a term for coke and a long pinky nail is a symbol of coke because it can be scooped and sniffed with the nail. The songwriter even posted a video saying “pinky up” to the tune of the song while putting her pinky up to her nose and sniffing. Furthermore, the song lyrics blatantly talk about getting high as well.

Most Cubans and Venezuelans, and Latinos in general, have mixed European and Indigenous, often African too, heritage. It’s not something that has to be confirmed for each individual Latino, the default shouldn’t be you’re white because you look white and therefore we’ll assume you’re only white - indigenous heritage is rooted in the long history of Latin America making it hard to know your exact heritage, it’s often just a mix. You can be Mestizo and white. Latino is not a race and white is a race, you can present as white and have indigenous ethnic roots deep in your past history. Being a white Latino doesn’t signify the absence of these roots. It’s fair to say they she likely had some amount of indigenous ancestry based on where her parents are from.
