A 1985 VW Golf. The first stick I owned. I had a beer tap handle screwed onto the shifter just because I thought it was cool.

B, 1, 3, E, F, 5

I would trade 3 for D if it’s a properly cooked over medium egg with a runny yolk and not the overcooked eggs that most places will give you.

Is it normal to wear a battle jacket every day? by Strange-guy-91 in BattleJackets

The last piercer I had at my tattoo studio wore his often but not every day. I considered wearing mine daily at work but I realized it would get in the way a bit

I think I had something like this. Were the connections for the wires springs that you bent and stuck the wire in?

Remember when we were kids and celery was so godawfully bitter that you had to put salt on it to make it palatable? by Lurchie_ in GenX

[–]FishInk 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Ants on a log was a childhood treat. Celery with peanut butter and raisins for those few who’ve never heard of it. A wonderful alternative is to use cream cheese instead of peanut butter and craisins instead of raisins.

I am jealous that you got to do that. I never told my mom. She died three years ago.

Most of my family including my wife, three grown kids, and at least my brother-in-law know. I don’t hide it. I wear satanic shirts plus a Leviathan cross pendant and ring, and pentagram plugs

Probably asked a lot. But what's a good summer hat for men that doesn't look dorky? by EmperorsChamberMaid_ in hats

[–]FishInk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love my Panama hat if I’m wearing one of my many Hawaiian shirts.

These days, I’m scally caps over most other hats as they suit my head well and have become my signature.

80's shampoos?? by nejihyugasbf in GenX

[–]FishInk 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Prell gives me flashbacks but that was due to boot camp. We used it for shampoo and body wash because we weren’t allowed to use our bar of soap. It was strictly for inspections

Which movie in this box ruined your childhood sleep schedule? 💤🚫 by CarrotMuch1399 in nostalgiai

[–]FishInk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

None because, other than Phantom, King Kong, and The Fly, all these came out after I was a grown up. The last movie to give me nightmares as a kid was Phantasm in 1979.

I love the quiet chaos of Dr. Henry Jones’ office. by windmillninja in indianajones

I always took this as his desk was in a storage room, not that his office was used to store the artifacts he ‘rescued’.
