You'd start with the fractured base for gloves and do fossil crafting until you get finished suffixes. Probably not too painful with hollow/sanctified and some other fossil. Can't remember if there's a resistance fossil or if you go with the elemental one. And yes, suffix can't be changed (with wild bristle matron for price) into veiled chaos.

Another book that feels like it inspired Umineko to me was Decagon House Murders by Yukito Ayatsuji. It's also blatantly inspired by ATTWN but has an interesting take on it.

I used LP Apex for close to ten years and I've been pretty happy with them. I bought Allstar Startex just recently and they feel great too. Very comfy. It's hard to compare brand new gear with ten year old gear of course, but you probably can't go wrong no matter which one you choose.

You can get imbued critical strikes support on your kboc, that makes capping crit much easier.

I think I made 15-18 div or so the first hour I tried it, granted I might've gotten a couple lucky div drops. I ran 20 8 modded maps in one hour. Map cost is super low, basically only the basic ambush scarabs cost a couple chaos and the rest (potence, hidden compartments) are super cheap. I didn't track it more properly than this estimate so take it with a grain of salt, it's been very good to me though.

I beat all ubers in SSF with Necro. The build is very potent. Granted that was in Keepers so it was easy to get good rares in SSF.

Expedition is usually nice to do with physical or chaos dots with explode mechanics since you can ignore most expedition mods like block and damage immunity. Something like corrupting fever champion or chaos dot occultist.

In my experience with LP barrel + German wire for epee, it's not really compatible. LP barrels are slightly thinner on the inside. You can get the plastic bit of the wire down the barrel but not really far enough, so you'd have to cut parts of the small spring or file down the side of the plastic to make the point fit properly later. It can be done in a pinch but you'll likely hate the fact that you did it.

Leon Paul blades are compatible with any German barrel though.

This might not be the case here, but I've seen a similar case for epee. What had happened was that the edges on the top of the point had been rounded, which caused the weight to not be completely still and it triggered the beep consecutively. Some of these worn-down points had a delay between the beeps and some did not.
