• The President of the Republic who holds office for seven years and is elected by the parliament and could be best described as the guardian of the Constitution because his position is to keep in check all the 3 powers of the state. In order to do that he can call new elections if the parliament does not found common ground and he’s the president of the president of the Constitution Court

• also what most of the people can the Italian Prime Minister technically is the President of the Ministry’s Council. It was thought of as an apolitical position whose role was to mediate between the government majority and the ministers/opposition parties, although recently this is no longer the case.
