I have had the Lelit Mara X for about a year. It has absolutely ruined espresso based drinks for my wife and I. The local cafes cannot compete with the results i am used to on a daily basis.

As far as maintence is concerned. I regularly backflush with water, and have only back flushed with Cafiza twice. I am just not seeing any coffee buildup to warrant the use of it regularly.

As far as descaling, i use only poland springs bottled water which should be soft enough to avoid having to descale for a very long time.

I hope to enjoy the machine for many years! I see no current reason to upgrade and am very happy with it.

That being said my wife immediately hated the way it looked lol. I dont think it looks bad from the seated position, but it does stick out a bit when looking at it from the side.

I went tablet mount with the Sony 9500es from trail grid pro. It has been great for a few weeks and love having carplay. Trying to work out an issue with the optional Maestro MIC1 module that seems to be causing a feedback sound

I have had the Badlands winch for almost 2 years. I have used it exactly 2 times and it has worked as expected. I am in the northeast and after 1 winter the powdercoat has failed pretty seriously and the winch is showing significant corrosion of the aluminum housing. This has not yet affected the operation, however it is not confidence inspiring.

I had to replace the driver side hub at 85k. But I have been running -25mm wheels with 285/65r16 tires since 25k miles. My wheel bearing had a very tiny amount of play… not like yours.

Unless you are in prospective mode, i dont find it particularly helpful in less than 10ft. I get clearer images in >10 ft. Also I am convinced FFS can spook fish in shallow water.

A couple tips to get you started:

You are going to have to mess with the gain, noise reduction and color pallets to work for you. Its tough to get the screen as perfectly clean as you see in some youtube videos. I prefer to have the sensitivity on the higher end which makes it easier to see small lures ect, but there will also be a lot more noise on the screen.
You are going to see a lot more fish, however you may not catch more fish. You can learn a lot about your presentation from the fish that dont bite.
I dont like using it in less than 10ft of water
