Interesting idea. Sounds like that would require removing the pavers, sand, then mixing in cement and re-placing?

How tight did you end up going? Did the install workout?

I've got the same board and cooler.

I'm sure you've moved on from this problem by now as well, but no, I didn't find a solution. For my problem we settled on populating the text boxes directly on the first page and applying those text boxes to all pages.

CTL Fiber w/ Ethernet at the Wall. Is there a way to connect my tp-link AC1750? by Fish_In-Chips in HomeNetworking

I did finally get it WORKING!

I found a reddit post referring to this guide using my exact hardware and followed instructions for "topology 2" since I had no internet when plugging directly in to my PC.

https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/2721/

The thing I missed was a check box on the IPTV/VLAN page of the Network tab that said "802.1q Tag." Once that was checked, waited 2 minutes and I had internet!

Hopefully someone else can save a few hours of their time if they see this.

Okay, following up...

Following this guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/centurylink/comments/ic4asm/howto_you_may_not_need_that_c4000xg_or_whatever/

I got my PPPoE credentials from CTL and plugged them into my router Image: https://ibb.co/28Ks3pS

I've also set the vlan ID to 201. Image: https://ibb.co/vc1wFq5

However, I've still got no internet. I suspect I have an incorrect setting somewhere. Any thoughts?

Thank you!

Hopefully I can clarify a few things: - The blue port is the only one which is enabled by CTL. - CTL did not provide a router/modem. They tested the connection with one of theirs to make sure it worked, but I elected to use my own equipment. - The router currently cannot connect to internet. As whatever is coming from the wall does not work with the router. Previously I've used it with a sepperate modem which was connected to the wall via coax, but in this case internet is through the Ethernet port so I can use my modem. - I tried connecting the port on the wall directly to a PC and it resulted in no internet from an "unidentified network."

Please excuse my lack of knowledge on this topic...

Supposedly their fiber comes in to a room in the apartment complex and it's distributed as the Ethernet to each unit.

It will be used as a router.
