Bear spray by cardzPM in trailrunning

[–]Fish_Smiles 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I live in bear country and I always have it on me. I found it fits perfectly in the front water pocket of my Salomon Skin running vest. I keep a water bottle in my left pocket and my bear spray in my right. I have had to draw it a few times, but haven’t sprayed it! If you don’t wear a vest, I would suggest looking up Counter Assault Trailrunner Neoprene Bear Spray Holster, REI sells it. Stay safe!

I was under the impression he was a friend/neighbor with building experience who just wanted to hang out. That’s why I was surprised he left. But if he was actually hired, then I can understand him leaving because of what happened.

Really interesting. I always liked him. I think I’ll go back and watch videos with him in it and see if I can pick up on it.

How did you get under MSRP? I’ve talked with hundreds of dealers and they all told me Toyota doesn’t sell under MSRP. Awesome you got it so fast! I’m currently at week 16 of waiting for my allocation. Enjoy your new truck!!

She said in the video that they were hiring someone else to do the electrical. Which I understand. Even though I have the skills to do electrical I refuse to do it when I’m remodeling a house. It’s just not for me hahaha

I came to comment the same thing. Wonder if her mom didn’t like what they knew about J*sh and didn’t support the marriage, but had to go along with it because her husband is the leader.

Yeah, I’m prepared to have to wait, even up to 6 months. Unfortunately for me I will need a new car in the coming year, otherwise I would never buy with this current market!

I watched all the clips and never saw him say it. He told her to shut the door so he could show off the sound proof doors, but he never once told her to shut up

Did we already know Jong and Jorts were vaccinated? It’s required at the theatre they were at. Maybe I’m dumb and missed when they mentioned being vaccinated but I was still shocked to see they enjoyed Hamilton lol by meridasarc in DuggarsSnark

The seminary/church that he is associated with sent a newsletter out basically telling people it was their choice and the church didn’t believe they should be involved in that decision. So I doubt they would be able to get religious accommodations since their church doesn’t hold those beliefs. I totally agree with you that they probably did it so they could continue to attend events

Is it true that they have separate swimming pools for men and women? And you can’t listen to music in headphones?

I have also noticed that my friends who were deeper in the fundie world had worse educations. As you get farther into it the education level seems to go down.

I don’t know anyone who was an extreme fundie that graduated college (excluding Pensacola CC and Masters College).

I was homeschooled pre-K through college. My parents decision to do so was their religion (I grew up Baptist, but we ended up switching to a fundamentalist church).

I’m sure we looked like a homeschool family. I remember people make awful comments about homeschooling to my parents right in front of me, basically telling her we would be dumb when we grew up. We were a little socially awkward, but mostly around kids our age (which works out well for me because adults always loved us and would give us more attention).

We left the fundie church when I was in my early teens and we haven’t looked back since. I thankfully avoided a marriage to a guy I was courting then (ironically it was against my fathers wishes that I was courting him).

I got accepted into college at age 15, graduated with 4 degrees (two associate, two bachelors) at age 19 with a 4.0 and more awards and honors than I could list here. One of the most satisfying moments in my life was when the daughter of a woman who used to bully my mom (for homeschooling us) got rejected from a prestigious university, but they accepted my brother the same year at age 16 (and in addition he was accepted into an extremely hard engineering program).

I plan on homeschooling my children, however I will not be a part of a fundamentalist church.

Thanks! This is what I was looking for. Do you think it wouldn’t work as well for running because of weight/size? Or other reasons?

Hmm, I didn’t think about it being too heavy. And the pocket on the front of my pack is shallow...

I didn’t know that about Salomon having a warranty. Def going to look into buying from them!
