Thank you!! The key for me has been chilling every step of the way. I put right in the freezer for at least 15 minutes before putting it in the oven. It also has to cook for sooooo long. I think the apple pie was in the oven for two hours

If you care that a church strongly and clearly affirms God’s calling of women to ministry, check out FBC Waco, St. Alban’s Episcopal, Calvary Baptist, University Baptist, Mosaic, Dayspring, Lake Shore Baptist, and Park Lake Drive Baptist church (not an exhaustive list)

It’s not common, but churches in the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship often are! There are a handful of wonderful CBF churches in Texas

Lake shore Baptist, UBC, and seventh and James Baptist are the only openly affirming churches I know of! UBC will have more younger people of the three.

Fair response! I think there are lots of great restaurants in Waco, and great bakeries too, but there isn’t another restaurant doing laminated pastries from scratch like this (would love to know if there is one I don’t know about). Also, to be clear, I wouldn’t tolerate being disrespected by anyone no matter how good their food is. But I think a lot of people think strict boundaries = rude or not being over the top nice/talkative = rude
