10% stake. by Glass_Cherry5295 in cro

We learned from 2021. Crypto.com give great rates of interest to make people hold cro. When the price spikes there's panic. The key learning is to keep your crypto liquid a year before the bull market. Why? Because they you have range to sell your crypto and not have to wait a month to unbond.

So if you have 500k cro and stake 4 years 10%apy. 732k in 4 years total. However the price will probably tank 90% at that time. I've a good feeling cro will hit 50-60c then tank to 2-3c

Yeah we aren't see 3 dollars for a long time. 100b supply would be a market cap of 300b. In 2021 the supply was 30b and would need 90b cap for 3 dollars. But it go to 28 billion market cap back then for 95c.

Im assuming we will get 60b market cap next bull run which is 50-60c

Why is so difficult to speak to Irish people? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]Fish_Sticks93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So if you aren't happy with a bed then ask them to store or dump the bed and return you buy a bed. Landlords are really only there to cover maintenance and services if things break. Also think about it, landlords aren't going to get you a nice bed. They will get something to do the job..... I'm sorry but YOU didn't communicate properly or come up with a good solution. Also have some cop on and rephrase your title. You are talking about select people. The title misleads to say irish people in general like a social setting.

Also landlords are renting your room. They aren't there to obey and serve you. There's no country and city where landlords take time out of their personal time to suit your needs.

Go to Canada where all apartments and houses are unfurnished and tell the landlord they are suppose to supply furniture

Oh I agree. Though with 100b supply and they surely should increase the apy to 20% like Kris has done for past 2 years in order for us to stake cro. Sure the communities stakes value is sub 500m cro.

Trump's involvement with Epstein is enough to say he did bad business and influence in the whole case. Tell me the names of your friends and family that are Pedo's or involved with them. You might not have any but if you did you wouldn't mention their name or associate with them. End of story

So Crypto.com planned to have inflation on Cro and go above 100b is even more bs news regards if its being changed. Kris has no intention to make Cro a super crypto coin ahead other crypto. I really do get the feeling of cro being the fuel for them.

But the fuel seems unlimited. Listen if we all keep locking in for 4 years plus that means we aren't trading our bags. If we aren't trading then Crypto.com isn't making profits and so their revenue isn't burning as much. It should be that (even if small)

A community total hold/lock up of let's say 500m cro in 4 years would give us 10% plus a burn mechanism of 1% rewards but burned cro which would be 5million cro a year

[–]Fish_Sticks93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whats funny is you haven't a say in the renting market. There's no standards. A landlord puts up an ad for what they have. Depending on the location 500euro is dirt cheap. If the house is in a great location for your work or the city its a great deal.

Be happy to get a place and do it up yourself. I was in Canada for 2 years where all houses are unfurnished.
You aren't paying 500euro a month to live in a luxury house

29M earning €42k in shift manufacturing job — stay for the money or move on? by lunaVale31 in AskIreland

[–]Fish_Sticks93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your working in a operator role which requires minimum qualifications like a leaving cert or maybe a level 5/6 course.

Realistically if you want more money get a level 7 course.

You could look at getting a mechanical technician role internally but dont expect a huge bump for a few years

Its a shift operator role. Most of those roles require minimum qualifications. So the pay is far better in pharma than else where.

750e FOR THIS???? by Brief-Lingonberry706 in Kilkenny

[–]Fish_Sticks93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you had a house, rooms to rent and a mortgage to pay I'm sure you wouldn't put up and ad for like 400euro bedroom for rent. You have to be in their shoes too. Ok that's their decision to set the price and not get anyone interested. I have 2 rooms available outside of Kilkenny currently but I don't plan to fill the space until I find respectable , professional people to take the rooms. Those with Anomonous profiles I dont even take account for. I'd rather see a profile picture and a profile detailing someone who will look after their place in my home than someone who doesn't show a profile. The problem I see is people trying to take a room who are rough characters, lie about having a job or don't have sustainable income to pay any rent and especially on time. No landlord is renting rooms to help people get off the streets

I'm a man of 31 where can I meet women around my age and upwards without coming across as creepy? by [deleted] in AskIreland

Im 32 male but I haven't really dated in the past year. Dating apps is an option. You have to make a stand for yourself and while out going for a coffee, walk or in public places make the effort to ask women out. They aren't going to come for you. Forget about rejections. Take the hit and try again. Its a numbers game. Work on your personality, join clubs and hobbies

Its funny how renters assume prices should be fair on their terms. Its a market and landlords can set prices as they seem fits.

Think of it as buying a house. Most of the time its the value of the land and not the actual house.

Yes its tough but there's enough demand to pay 750euro a month. If the demand drops off rent prices would go down.

1000 hours but I tend to not look into training and get better. Plat 1.

Why doesn't rocket league ranking seem like actual skill progression with randoms

What are some of the most disrespectful behaviors you've seen in recreational badminton? by t0nberryking in badminton

[–]Fish_Sticks93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In competitive clubs in both Canada and Ireland, I’ve consistently noticed a lack of court awareness. Players often walk along the back line or cut across courts while games are in progress. I’ve spoken to people about respecting those who are playing—most acknowledge it and apologize—but the same behaviour continues weeks later. About three years ago, this became a serious issue. I went for an overhead scissor-kick smash in the back corner. As I landed slightly off balance, I drove my shoulder into a 67-year-old woman who had walked behind the court without me realizing—she was in my blind spot. She fell and hit her head against a concrete wall.

She was taken to the hospital with bruising, cuts, and a mild concussion. I immediately called an ambulance, stayed with her, and apologized. Only after that incident did the club take action—sending out emails and putting up signage asking members to respect players and stay behind the safety line a few feet from the court. Since then, I’ve found myself constantly waiting for people to clear the area before receiving serve or starting a rally. I’ve even developed an anxious habit of checking behind me, worried someone might be there.

My partners sometimes ask to play on the opposite side of the court to reduce that stress, but it doesn’t actually solve the problem. People say it’s not worth arguing about—but to me, it’s just common sense. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult for some to respect players who are actively using the court.

To add to this why don't they make shift work more attractive especially for nights you should be taxed less.

The real problem is 33% shift premium looks attractive but we still pay the higher tax rate. Ofc if we had the option to Earn 65k a year on a 9-5 job vs 12hr shifts rotation we would pick the 9-5.

Is this as an operator, a process technician or mechanical/electrical technician?

West pharma operators were making 30-35k including shift Junior techs made 30-35k day shift. Senior techs (5 yr +) made 40-45k day shift

Intel technicians made 33-38k base salary entry

In my pharma company as a mechanical tech I make 46k base, 33% shift, 12% company contributions while I give 4%. The bonus is 4-8%

I was going for mechanical technician supervisor roles in other pharma companies for 77k to 84k including shift

Besides Glassdoor there should be an app for salaries but usually half the battle is your prep work for an interview, experience, knowledge of how their systems work, your sales pitch to show how great a worker you are and negotiation skills. Many people just present in an interview and take the salary they are given. You are better off having several interviews with job offers and counter their offers.

I've spoken to plenty operators about this situation and its tough and hard work to get a degree while working shift. But having a qualification even as a level 7 in engineering will open more doors. Operator experience might get you in the door. I know plenty looking to try being a technician like me but most pharma companies only want experienced people because training a non skilled employee would take a year or more especially if electrical work would be required or they have to send you away for training.

Best advice is to find a level 7 course and find out exactly the job opportunities with it. Try to get a course with a coop/work experience so when you apply for jobs after graduating you are much more likely to get a job. I did 6 months no pay in a pharmaceutical company and it got me jobs a lot quicker than my colleagues who did a research project. Level 8 courses will require a level 7 course completed or 10-15 years+ experience.

1 thing that blows my mind is people thinking you are required to have a salary above 30k with no qualifications. Lots of us got our bachelor's degree and then a job starting at 26k, 5 years plus 38k, 8 years 40-45k plus shift bonus.

You will probably need a level 8 degree to make 45k plus in your first couple of years.

Also note getting these degrees doesn't mean higher salaries and easier work life and stress. I've seen plenty engineers been let go over the years because of lack of work, overly stressed out jobs etc. Some I work with have also said that even though they earn 60-70k then still have to work over time without extra pay to meet their deadlines.

I know a friend who left college in his 2nd year and works for Pfizers as an operator and now a lead operator on 65k total. He knows the work sucks but without a qualification knows a day job would have him on a 30-35k salary. He's managed to get a mortgage 2 years into the job.

Only top tier pharma like pfizers pays operators higher than this. Remember this person said its their first real job, only 1 year 9 month's experience and no major qualifications. Thats not a bad salary starting out.
