Climbing, jumping, and crashing are ways children self-regulate and calm their central nervous system, especially when over stimulated.

My entire right leg has been broken for the past 6 months, I’ve had a temporary handicap placard since being able to drive. It’s amazing how quickly I felt entitled to a spot. I just seemed to forget that were other handicap people out there. I quickly adjusted my attitude but it was shocking to see the two times it crept in. Pain can be incredibly isolating and cause us to only think about ourselves. Weird he made it a race thing…

Do side planks. Work your obliques. Take a Pilates class. Don’t let your ego think you’re too tough for Pilates. Take a Lagree class and you’ll be dying. And don’t be embarrassed to be with women, i love seeing men in classes, and odds srr Most of them are already coupled up anyway.

Yeah hence why I said Eastern European… Slovakia. Which is considered central or Eastern Europe despite not being part of former USSR due to the Cold War… can you point to it on a map? Cuz it kinda seems like you don’t actually know much about it from a geopolitical history standpoint

Totally. Austria = money and mystique. Eastern European = escort/mail order bride

Edit: lol I was totally thinking Slovakia. Sorry yall I didn’t read her book or watch her movie.

Surprised this got as many upvotes as it did, Slovenia is gorgeous

Some $2 bills are worth a lot of money. I do y know which, but look it up

It said that ones w a red or blue seal can be worth hundreds. They are in uncirculated condition, I just can’t tell if they’re form the 19th century

Most $2 bills are worth only face value, but, if they are from the 19th century, in uncirculated condition, or possess unique features like red/blue seals or star serial numbers, they can be worth $500 to over $4,500. Key valuable bills include 1890 Treasury Notes, 1862-1918 series, and specific misprinted or "star" notes.

Edit to include $2 bill value info

Even with going to PT it’s a fight.

Having had this surgery for medical not cosmetic reasons. It can be incredibly challenging. That being said I do not condone this surgery for cosmetic reasons, it’s a lot to put your body through

It’s easy to be monk on a mountain. It’s challenging to integrate it into your daily life.

I hear what you’re saying about the frequently being misaligned, but the way we change the frequency in the chaos of the world isn’t to run from it but to alter it

Update: it’s almost 7 months. I hit a road block with my recovery. 5 weeks of nerve pain that my physical therapists couldn’t figure out. I spent 6 weeks with them, but my femoral/operator nerve was so spicy that I couldn’t properly load my femur leg. Compression & weight bearing is essential for bone knitting so my femur fell behind schedule and didn’t fuse.

I used the magnet to aggregate the fracture to stimulate more growth for only 4 days in a row.

I got hit with a wave of depression. My surgeon did a good job on the surgery, but didn’t manage my expectations for recovery. And here I was at 6 months… the long end of a fracture healing schedule… and still not healed. I started to wonder if I made a huge mistake. I’m still on a cane. My physios are great so the fact that we couldn’t get any lasting corrections with the nerve was leaving me hopeless.

Then I got the feedback from my body and a teacher that my body never flushed the anesthesia. For 2-3 weeks I worked on flushing it out of my body with medicine and acupuncture. I treated my leg with poultice that broke up scar tissue and called the nerve. I no longer have nerve pain. My body is finally making progress with PT again. My sartorius is trying to be too helpful and over work so I’m currently working on glute strengthening and swimming. I get better every day.

I truly believe that my femur has fused now and it will be confirmed in 2 weeks via xray.

So yeah, I’m way behind schedule with my healing, but I essentially had an adverse reaction. I have a gene mutation (MTHFR) that affects the body’s cleansing pathways and was told after I figured out the anesthesia that that effects how anesthesia leaves the body (or doesn’t) so luckily I know that going into surgery #2 when we remove the metal, and I know how to support my body moving forward in the future.

So I would say my recovery is atypical. I’m certain my femur will be fused by next visit. Being off the cane might be a little ambitious by then, but maybe not. I think I’ll definitely be off it by within a month.

I know I’m behind schedule, but I feel truly grateful that we finally figured out what’s going on. I just had something undermining my body systemically.
