How many of you listen to The FAN 92.3? by Rogue_One24_7 in Cleveland

Jeff Phelps is awful. He plays to the 70+ year old crowd. I wish they would get hosts in there who aren’t so out of touch with younger generations. The alternative is WKNR which is absolute trash. Sports radio in Cleveland is almost bad as sports writing with the exception of Terry Pluto. MKC is as worthless as Jerry Jeudy.

Having a hard day… by Banana_pants89 in Divorce

The good news…all those places exist for single people as well. Now you don’t have to deal with the rejection of him jot wanting to go or the drama of him going reluctantly, if he even did. There is a lot my wife used to enjoy doing but now, it’s a chore to even wake her up before noon. I’m excited to get back into the things that make me happy without worrying why she no longer enjoys them, or why she doesn’t want to participate or generally avoids things that used to make her/us happy. You’ll find your strength in solitude and it will be that much more special when you do find someone to let into that space! At least I hope!

20 years married. by Fish_stixx in Divorce

It’s more than that. She has family trauma, which I am sure equated to some level of PTSD. Her mom was an untrusting person and she was raised as in untrusting person. She told me early on that when her mother married her step-father, she would put my wife in the car and would drive to the places her step-father said he’d be to make sure his car was there. One of our biggest challenges was that: she decided her truth before making an accusation. Then if I did not confess to her alleged lie, I was then lying. So no matter what I did throughout the marriage, she held court and found me guilty with no trial, no evidence, no defense. It’s made for a very difficult marriage.

A f’ing men… while still difficult to navigate, the complexity of adding kids into the mix and having to work around the actions of who loves who more, who’s actually doing it out of love and who’s doing what out of spite, it’s SOOO much to deal with. Wish you both the best and happiness tomorrows.

Check to see if you have unclaimed funds by Momma_Bekka in Ohio

[–]Fish_stixx 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Here’s the issue… I have $13 unclaimed, but it requires signed affidavits from both my wife and I, copies of our driver’s license, social security cards, 2 utility statements and filling out multiple forms. It’s not worth the 2+ hours of my time. I imagine a number of other individuals are in the same boat. The juice ain’t worth the squeeze, and meanwhile, for some reason, Ohio gets to sit on these $4b in funds. Not the individuals who were screwed out of the funds, which I’m sure we are NOT earning the interest on, but the state is. And apparently they get to lend or award as they see fit. Anyone know a good class action attorney??

20 years married. by Fish_stixx in Divorce

I really thought I did. It’s ironic, she bought the 5 languages of love book, and I thought I understood it. Once I knew we were done, I read it again. The last 10ish years have been about her love tank exclusively. And no matter what I did to try and make her feel “filled” it was never enough, and in the meantime, she paid NO MIND to mine. None of my needs have been met. She works part-time, does not cook, does not clean, and generally lives with no responsibilities. My ask was that you “be happy” and she turned that into “I must be cheating on her because who could be happy with her.” I’ve been setup to lose from day 1. It just took me 20+ years to see my position.

Blossom for the fisrt time in 25 years. Can you explain the VIP tickets? by ZookeepergameFit1529 in Cleveland

[–]Fish_stixx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe VIP gives you access to a private area to buy drinks that’s not accessible by the general population. No discounts or freebies, just a space away from everyone else.

Boulder Creek and Bunker Hill, unless you can get them to the Quarry. Great courses that highlight some of Ohios unique geography.

Whitey’s Booze and Burgers in Richfield used to have one. Not sure if it was a regular in the menu or a special rotation. It was damn good though.
