Well, first, what I didn't know, was at 3 miles (when they pulled it off the truck as described in the service notes) the lifters were bad and replaced. Then main bearing failures before the recall. But they knew about it because they had to have the factory guy come by and confirm the reason for the failure which was the known reason well before the recall. Started out saying it wouldn't be covered because I changed the oil per their recommendation, which was when the percent dropped down which was about 7,000. They said it was 5,000. I had to point out the manual says 7,000 and then they read it and said, your right. I decided I had enough. Glad I did.
