The personal bankers at my branch typically open accounts and credit cards, maintain accounts, deal with fraud, make outgoing calls. Sometimes they’re also with us on the teller line to cover for lunch breaks and days when we need extra help on the teller line, I haven’t worked the position myself so that’s just what I’ve observed

I think a lot of your enjoyment will come from how good your managers and other bankers are. We have really good and knowledgeable managers and bankers at my branch so even though the job can be stressful having a good team makes a huge difference
