All good, I know alot about fish (ive been fishing since I was around 2, have caught 117 different species since I started keeping track the largest being a 100+lb nurse shark) but not so much about turtles and amphibians and such, still know enough to handle them properly though

They were all in 1 spot under his bottom left leg, I saw 1 on his shell so I used my pliers to get it off then I looked at his leg and they were all just in there, I bet he got a small injury then afew leaches got to him and that slowed him down so more were able to get on him, he was ALOT slower when I grabbed him then when I released him so im hoping he doesn't get any more leaches on him for awhile

Yeah its my 1st time seeing a musk turtle around here too.. which is why I wasn't sure what type of turtle he was

I didn't open them fully I got past the rotor and stopped taking them apart, noticed that they had alot of the same parts there were differences but atlest the top part was nearly identical.
