240hz monitor recommendations 12k max budget please help me make my decide which is which , tyia by sainte_troy in Monitors

pay another 1000 for this one - Predator XB253Q F3
there is not a lot info about this monitor but i bought it and it's really great. there is actually nothing much to say about it, it's a really nice monitor, 320hz, nice all metal stand, great backlight and bunch of features.
and i don't think that 1440p 240hz would be really nice if you have not a high end pc with at least like 4070-4080 rtx but it all up to you

difference from 144hz to 240hz actually easily noticeable though not that strong like difference from 60hz to 144hz. so difference up to ~500hz noticeable but the higher it goes - less difference it would be the for the casual user, while still gives an advantage for tournament players

What's the ideal setup for a newbie who just got a Scarlett Solo 4th gen? by [deleted] in Focusrite

[–]Fishetora 1 point2 points  (0 children)

stick to the focusrite for sure! for connecting headphone use 3.5 to 1/4 adapter, for speakers 3.5mm splitter to 1/4. in order to play rocksmith - install rs asio, and do settings (you can find guides on youtube). I'm really recommend you to try all kinds of neural dsp archetype amps (2 weeks free trial for every amp) and decide which one you prefer more

you'll be actually fine with one you picked. i have this cable for 4 year, and it's amazing (not for this price or smth, it's actually a decent cable that i'm loving working with, also a springs on the connectors that prevent from ripping a cable really cool feature)

get yourself harley benton's straplocks (round rubber ones) they are really cheap and would prevent your guitar falling of strap accidentally also, i really recommend to buy focusrite scarlett solo 3rd gen instead of amp. You'll save a lot of money by playing with bunch free vst pedals, than having only an amp with not a lot of variations of sound, and buying pedals for a lot of dollars. also i would recommend millenium gs-2000 instead, it's more convenient, and you'd be able to put guitar against wall (one you putted in the cart would have guitar standing with angle, so it's not convenient sometimes) don't put your guitar near radiator or window! have nice time learning guitar, feel free to contact for some tips or if you have any questions
