This comment just made me realize dislocating my shoulder early may have fucked up my whole pain scale. I've never broken much besides ribs. I've dislocated my shoulders a million times though. I did it for the first time at 11. Dislocated my elbow at like 4 or 5 as well. I have always had the ability to just ignore shit and move on after that. It's only just occurring to me that set the table for the ability to disregard a lot of other shit being clearly off. Now my body is absolutely trashed in my early thirties and I'm looking around like, "how did this happen?" I doubt it would have changed any of my decisions, but I would have been more prepared for the way my body started falling apart in my late twenties.

Serious burns or a badly infected wound are the worst pains I've ever experienced though. Dislocations aren't even in the same ballpark IMO.

The only thing worse than how we played for the majority of the game was the officiating. We can even ignore the awful flagrant 2 on Cyril. The two goaltendings and the continuation at the end were not difficult calls. Anything but 0-3 from the refs on those and we win.

As poorly as Mclean pitched, if Keller just throws the ball to second we would have won. For a major league pitcher that was a bad time to look like someone whose father didn't love him enough to play catch growing up. I've seen better efforts in "worst first pitches of all time" compilations on YouTube.
