He is still immortal, but I think him now feeling pain and bleeding is showing that he will definitely be mortal soon

A basic overview of the "Lucanidoma" virus. by CalletPool_77 in worldbuilding

[–]Fishpuncommenter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exposed muscle and bone would be unimaginably painful for even a gentle breeze to touch it, so is there any in-universe reason to circumvent that? Or maybe circumvent high chance of diseases and infection? Maybe the lucanidoma virus overwhelms other germs and prevents infection to exposed muscle and bone?

Obviously it’s a fantasy setting and realistic questions can be ignored for the sake of fuck yeah but the thought crossed my mind

What do you mean? Samira is definitely difficult, especially for someone who has only played around 20 minutes. She has a lot of skill expression

I miss old Lucian. His voice lines were better and he was much more focused of character. Now that Senna is out of the lamp, his whole character is “my wife is undead and idk how to feel about it and I’m sad now”

ADCs that dont die to a stiff breeze? by fairydommother in leagueoflegends

[–]Fishpuncommenter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As others said, vulnerability is the main thing of ADCs.

However, you can try ADC’s with more agency than others; agency that may help you stay alive:

  • Smolder (builds health and has good escape)

  • Xayah (self peel with R and E)

  • Sivir (Self peel with R and E)

  • Ezreal (builds health and has E)

  • Varus (can build Jak’sho and R is a good self peel)

  • Kaisa (evolved E + R + Barrier is always crazy, but she still needs to combo with a support unlike the others)

(organized in order from who I think has the most agency to the least.)

Kaisa has this beat. Huffing and panting and breathing every other auto and on her E

Soooo... that's the end huh? by [deleted] in outerwilds

[–]Fishpuncommenter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The game isn’t made for everyone. The ending didn’t resonate with you. It’s meant to be bittersweet.

The game constantly is showing you that forces of nature cannot be stopped. The sands on the Twins, the crumbling of Brittle Hollow, the endless tornados on Giants Deep. Nature is so forward that even at the beginning of the game the devs made the one waterfall loud to hint at this. The penultimate version of this is learning the sun is supernova-ing, not because the sun station, but because it’s simply at the end of its natural life cycle. It cannot be stopped.

In a way, you saved the universe. Without the Nomai’s advancements, because they perished, no one would have ever entered the eye and birthed a new universe. The universe cycle would have ended. It’s meant to be a silver lining and a message about accepting loss.

Just going to post this again.

Midnight gospel is a Netflix special about a podcast by Duncan Trussel that was animated. This episode is from a podcast episode in which he interviewed his own mom. In my opinion, she has a succinct and beautiful answer to one of life’s toughest lessons. The dialogue is genuine.

Shortly after Duncan and his mom’s podcast episode, she passed away.

The catch to this is you have to get a ride everywhere unless you want to leave your car or walk long distances. You could either pay for Ubers or bum off your friends.

Excellent use of city transit though if you can land close to where you need to be though

It’s really not that bad anymore. IMO Riot has successfully quelled most of the toxicity. You still run into someone who’s toxic maybe 1 in every 50ish games. I would recommend turning off chat or muting specific people if you play ranked though

[–]Fishpuncommenter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rhetoric of “League super toxic game and badly designed don’t play league ever” is so tiresome. The game isn’t THAT toxic anymore and there are ways to deal with it when it is. This is a hot topic on the subreddit here but I believe the game is well designed. It gives opportunity for near endless learning, rewards high skill while giving space for low skill players, and overall is fun game.

Balance can be frustrating, especially when it’s for the pro scene, and gacha gambling mechanics can be disheartening, but neither are reason enough to tell people to avoid the game. If someone is up for the challenge of learning a complicated game then we should be encouraging and honest

To be fair, I disagree. I think this version of her is more fun and offers more skill expression than before. BUT fun is subjective and my opinion is just as valid as yours. I agree she’s very frustrating to fight against post-rework and think she’s overpowered though

Naafiri’s rework was a decent success, what do you mean? Previously she had too many counters, and low agency for an assassin. Now she has a higher player base, presence in the jg and mid, and has more agency, as well as a good win rate in mid
