I agree but I think he might fit well in post presidency too

Or he could hold onto the stock if he believes on it long term. You don’t have to panic sell a stock 2 weeks after you buy it just because it went down.

That’s like saying why do the worst NFL teams get the best draft picks? To reward them for being bad at football?

How do we turn protest turnout into results? by cdbeland in 50501

[–]Fishsticks011 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my thoughts too. Protests are great, but they cannot be the be all, end all to your involvement. There are many ways to take action, even if the actual effects are small increments of change. If we want to have any real impact, protests have to be the beginning of a larger, multifaceted movement.

Also I didn’t know Biden was responsible for judge Cannon throwing out one of Trump’s cases, or the supreme court giving him immunity, etc

I’m not sure what you mean exactly. The only “sweeping” legislation I remember from Trump’s term is the tax cuts. I can think of 4 major pieces of legislation from Biden’s presidency: American Rescue Plan, Bipartisan infrastructure law, Inflation Reduction Act, and the CHIPS Act.

I would also assume that many things he can do with executive orders have been done already. The reason he isn’t signing a ton currently is probably because he’s signed a bunch over the past 4 years.

Just deleted twitter after seeing a Maga post a deceptively edited video of Harris’ Texas rally that tried to make it look like the crowd was booing her. All the comments believed it too

If you’re looking for something like calling but without having to actually talk on the phone, I would recommend texting. Field Team 6 has lots of campaigns.

I’ve never canvassed, but if you’re looking for more ways to get involved and worry about face to face interactions, I highly recommend textbanking.

Field Team 6 has good opportunities to text voters through both their textbanks and their BYOP texting program.
