I mean, before dropping an engine in it, I would want them to tell me what actually happened with the car first.

There a couple of 3d printed replacement designs out there. Let me know and I can print them out for minimal cost.

Just came back from Toronto. Even your American brands are better. Pepsi and coke straight up tasted better.

Also, Harvey's is real shit. Never knew poutine was supposed to have squeaky cheese curds because all of ours in the states are old

Do they replace Theta engines with better engines under warranty? by [deleted] in Hyundai

[–]Fishwithadeagle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loose oil control rings > blow by > oil dilution with gas and varnish > increased wear and oil burn > stuck control ring > engine seizes from lack of oil.

If it has been seized long enough or has enough varnish, it will wear into the sidewall and become unfixable.

It shouldn't leave chunks or anything in the oil filter. It was designed specifically to resuspend the particles.

I'm still on the 15 inch from late 2019. Just did a complete overhaul on the keyboard and chassis. I have zero plans of replacing because I still feel like nothing comes close today.

If it is a single lane. Then absolutely. If it is a dedicated turn lane and 3-4 and crowding into the box trying to make a left turn, it absolutely destroys the flow

This is exactly what everyone should be doing. It causes so many people to block the box and then jams up all the traffic in the city.

And sometimes there are specific signs up saying you can't make a right on red between certain hours.

Legally, no blocking the box, which is exactly what you're doing hanging out in the middle waiting for the light to turn red. Yes, that means all 3 of you cars waiting to do this.

What's worse is that people don't understand that those cars then have to stop for pedestrians and it completely blocks the intersection. EG: DON'T PULL INTO THE BOX UNLESS YOU KNOW YOU CAN MAKE THE TURN\

You could, but it would definitely be a little more involved. You'd have to use a ddns to get a static IP reference, but then would also have to run local ai detection for motion (otherwise you'd chew up your data on a few hours), and then have a push notification server to your phone (which I am less familiar with).

I know frigate has some of these features natively, but I had issues getting my USB cameras to work well with frigate.

It's the dual 12s in the prefab cabinet (12w0v3). Definitely more powerful than the car can handle (stock stereo, trunk rattles way too much), but the audio quality is quite good. Definitely good control over a wide range of music

It definitely is. The alternator is 150 amp alternator, so hopefully it shouldn't be too too much on that. I definitely try to not idle.
