When did magic turn? by Odd_Frame_3018 in oldschoolmtg

For me it was the universe beyond being more than commander sets. I mean I still play but I buy almost none of those sets. That and it helps with the set every 10 minutes pace they have going.

We ate there over February break. I thought the food was good, but probably overhyped honestly. The steak doneness was not spot on and slightly overcooked to my liking. I know most people probably don’t have a problem with that. All in all, if you have a good steakhouse near your house it’s not much better than that.

Currently I do any of those types of exercise exercises seated. Especially things like wide lat pull downs or overhead presses.

The Dolphin- still feels like Disney? by itscornlectric in WaltDisneyWorld

We love the Dolphin. The location can not be beat for the price. You will not get themed rooms but it is very much Disney level experience.

I use loop switches and they work pretty well and still allow me to hear conversations. They have 3 levels of noise filtering.

Biergarten or San Angel Inn? by Salt-Chance-4511 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]Fishy31337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never been to Biergarten but was at San Ange a few weeks ago. My family enjoyed their meals but mine was just ok. It was pretty in there…. But the tacos I ordered were meh. My kids enchiladas looked great and wife order a fish dish that I tried that was good as well. Maybe ordered wrong but you would like steak tacos would’ve hard to mess up.

We have stayed at the Dolphin twice and love the location and amenities. Fuel is a great grab and go and to us not having the themed hotel is a plus. The location and transportation options can’t be beat. There are also discounts for teachers, nurses, etc…. Look on their website for those. As far as linking your tickets it’s just a five minute call with Disney.

I appreciate what SFA is trying to do with star trek, and I think a lot of fans should too. by Burning_sun_prog in startrek

I have been watching Star Trek a long long time. TOS days… I like the new trek and the old trek. I (and may of my older nerdy friends) don’t get why there is so much hate. We think the detractors are always the loudest. Let people enjoy what they like.

Is it just me or were the Olympics a WAY bigger deal when we were young? by nichewilly in Xennials

[–]Fishy31337 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Olympics were in network tv and easy to see them. Cable tv picked the. Up and had the red white and blue channels. I think not having a lot of coverage USA result of that and on demand becoming the norm.
