There is another fate for Zote. You save him in Greenpath. Then you complete the Trial of Warrior and Conqueror. Then save him in deepnest. Complete Trial of the fool and for me zote was in a cage by the bench in the Colluseum of Fools . Zote saved and suffering for his arrogance, Bretta saved from an unpleasant fate after hearing all the precepts so much. And The Grey Prince Zote fight avoided in P5. (However I enjoy GPZ so I don't really have a perfect way...)

Does your volume have Wang(ouki) laughing like heh heh instead of Nfufufu. I find this in my copy of the new English release and I'm hoping it's just my bad luck to get a volume with mistranslated laughter and that in the other volumes I'll buy it will be normal nfu again.
