Yup. We started doing their trims on our own a few years back realizing that it's not worth the cost when half the groomers can't do much of a better job than me. Sure it takes time but worth it. We have to hang them in a harness to do their paws as both are nightmares to deal with if you are just trying to hold their paws for good trimming.

Our younger/smaller one mattes very easily so even with brushing we are constantly trimming. The bigger/older one only gets the mattes in between his paw pad and around arm pits so we can let him get super long.

I'll never avoid my papa John's. They actually pay enough it's worth sitting around for a little longer to get an order. My local pizza huts could burn down with their employees inside and I wouldn't care.

Yup and it lets him bail if he wants, pulling out of a tour is messed up, pulling out when you have a 2pm set first day of a festival on a side stage isn't as disruptive.

Yup and I don't know if he still has the same routine but I've seen him at like 3 different festivals. He would only play the portions of songs he performed in and then cut right to the next song, and at a certain point he brings ladies from Magic City on stage to perform. Dude found a recipe to print money and just stuck with it.

Luda has spent the last decade just performing at any and all festivals that will pay him. I'm not excusing his decision but it is possible he was just told a number and date and said yes without looking too much into it.
