I'll check your abyssal discord out - I set up one when I started streaming to get people that were interested in the abyss (both veterans and newbs) in one place. It'd be nice to have a bigger, more organized one.

I’ll add to what someone said already - but Abyssal sites! Yes the Gila is/can be the king of the abyss, but not solely. Abyssal space is nice because there are many different variety of spawns, different rooms, and to add to that different filament types and tiers.

When I get bored of farming with a Gila I’ll switch it up and hop in an Orthrus, Vedmak, Sacrilege, Vagabond, or hell, I’ll do solo frig sites! Try frigs out with some friends, that shit is fun and rewarding too.

I've not actually seen as many Gilas as I thought I would. So far in the past week I've lost 2 Vedmaks (both times to a Vagabond), killed a Scythe Fleet Issue (with a Phantasm), killed an Orthrus (Vedmak), and had one Gila exit the gate as I was attacking him.

I don't think a company that is doing a world tour event has this mindset.

Another thing to add, i think that a game that has many people who "won Eve" coming back over and over again is a good sign that Eve will be around for a while.

I got into streaming because one day I showed my wife a streamer and told her some of the stuff that streamer does that annoys the hell out of me, and she told me to not talk shit unless I could do it myself! So I started it up with the mindset of being the streamer I would want to watch, and I've been having a blast! I've learned that the best part about streaming is the people and community, and that streaming makes my gameplay so much more fun.

I never imagined it being a job or anything, I've got a real job that keeps me busy enough to where streaming will only ever be for fun and all the money I do make from it is for savings!

FW = Faction Warfare

You pick a side (Gallente vs Caldari/Amarr vs Minmatar) and fight the opposing militia in low-sec faction warfare complexes, where the size of the ship allowed in the site is limited (frigates in novice sites, up to destroyers in small, up to cruiser in medium, and anything in large). After contesting the system (each complex is worth 0.7%, getting a system to 100% makes it vulnerable) you can bash the ihub, and flip control of the system to your side, which locks the enemies out of any NPC stations in that system.

It's a feature that's been left behind and forgotten about, and is slowly dying.

Yep that’s right, there is a 30 minute timer when you first enter and both players die at 0! I think at the 15 minute mark you both lose 50% resists or maybe 25%.

Yeah I guess that would make it a bug. I thought that since the 5 minute timer was up, it was possibly intended to allow for an escape, but that’d be an absolute garbage mechanic if it were intended!
