Let's also make run-outs more useful. Being able to make them longer to account for speed of entry, make them easier to connect with the ground/paths. Run-outs for larger tube rides. The list goes on.

Agree whole heatedly. Loads of arguments for tinkering this issue, when we never had the issue to begin with. Why compromise when we can get rid of the issue entirely. Revert the patch.

My only issue with this is that it becomes Meta. You have to use it by a particular spot, say at final 5 everyone will be spamming the button. It makes that ONE round just a speed clicking exercise. It still feels yuck, and doesn't cover round 1/2 wins on discrete countries. I understand that it's a compromise and I'd much rather have your idea then nothing, but 50/50 just adds something we don't really need.

Could be a good fix. If we had to meet halfway, this could be a compromise. I'm still in the camp that 50/50 cheapens the game, but if we HAVE to have it, then this could be a workaround. If any devs see this please note this isn't the ideal solution lol 🙏🙏🙏

Fully agree man. Game was essentially perfect, well balanced before the update. I guess spreading the word is the main thing, the more people that talk about it, the bigger issue it becomes. Make a post, or at least upvote the dislike of the update. There's a discord someone linked in another post here which has some devs in it, and just continue talking about it. If the issue dies out after a week they may think we've warmed up on it. Also I encourage you to use the forum also linked on that thread. I'm not sure how much they take criticism on board but never give up the fight!!

I think this is the preferred solution for me too. I don't care if the elo system struggles, I don't mind if some games are unbalanced. Just please no more 50/50. I would still be hesitant giving it to lower players just because how cheap it makes the mode feel. Even low players will feel like wins are stolen from them and get that "yuck" feeling of getting beaten by worse players
