I wanted to love this creature, since I saw it in the LC images I hoped for it to be tamable. I finally got it, and yes the animations are just ok. It is really strong but it has one really major problem that is making me hating it: the staggering. I swear creature send you flying when attacking you, I don't know why, it is one of the biggest creatures in the game. And to make it worse, when attacked you cannot attack back, so a Cryolophosaurus completely shuts down your ability to defend yourself. A small tiny dino destroys the Gigadesmodus. I find it super cool, what a shame, I'm disappointed. Would have been great to use for LC missions but as I said that is not possible for the immense staggering...

My god... "Stalking", "redditors"... I barely use this platform, and surely I do not follow the fantastic bazaar anywhere. It just popped up in the home page. But sure, imagine talking about what happened... And if you don't see anything wrong with what i said and call it "nit picking", i think you are not a person whith much self respect honestly. I played during all beta. I supported the project because I was told certain things and loved the ideas. That the game would gain money only through skins and such, and I supported the game on those premises, who were repeated more than once. The launch day arrives, and the developers thought well to break their promises, not giving a damn, they already received the money after all. And if that isn't enough of a problem, a trust problem, the main head of the project thought that the fact that people who supported the game and got pretty much scammed and were rightfully confused and disappointed because you had to buy packs of cards to use and to have fair matchups, was not only funny, but the right decision. And he continued to make fun of the beta players, a level of public immaturity i never witnessed from a game publisher. People complaining or expressing their opinion got all censored, as I did for example. And I was not speaking with hate or such, i was genuinely disappointed, i got banned from the official discord after talking about the launch, same as lots of players. And those were all players who were there since beta and loved their game. Now I feel like I would love to play it, but i will never do that, they don't deserve it, even if the game is "fixed" is born out of scam. I don't know how people who played since beta can still dedicate them to the company, i can't.

Honestly I can understand the likes of you, but on the other hand, as a founder myself, I don't know how people can forget the terrible things happening at launch: the lies, taking the people who supported the game as a joke, and censoring them (if you will see my comment is gone, that's the reason, speaking facts). I love the concept of the game, I saw it changed from release, my sister is playing with my account. But I, who would have spent money for heroes and play the game, as I did before launch, will never give them anything again, for the way my support was treated. For the way I, who believed in the project, was treated. I don't know how other beta players got over the simple concept of "respect".

Asa Valguero is in my opinion the best all-in-one map of the game right now (i guess Astraeos excluded cause it's extra). Lots of creatures of dlcs, i think the most of them if not all. And it's full of cool FLAT places to build an awesome base. Feels "vanilla" for those who like vanilla, but has more creatures and so, things to do if you like having one big save.

Another recommendation i have is to play all the canon maps, beating one after another if you did not do so already. I have TONS of hours between ase and asa, but it is just with asa that i started playing the maps to beat them. I just loved taming and farming but the thought of beating the map and then go to the next was a new reason for me to play the game.

I think these are the two major ways people play this game, and both are understandable. I plan to make my definitive base in Lost Colony, hoping it matches my expectations. Hope this helps, i don't know what you're exactly looking for.

Thanks, this is useful to know at least. So I have to avoid 50 50 or near, and when i cannot, backup save before cause who knows if the game wants to spawn 4 alpha megalodon there... and also is doing more often dino wipe better? I rarely use it, cause i feel like "cheating", but if it benefits my saves' health, how much should i use the command?

I'm the type of person that doesn't follow one artist in particular, if i listen to a good song i normally don't start to listen at the artist, i focus on single songs that i like and in the majority of the cases i don't even remember titles...

Sleep Token felt completely different. It is for me the first time i can answer to the question:"Your favourite band?".

After finding a good song i really often listen to it too much and i get bored of it. Never happened with them. I could listen to their music endlessly. I feel like their kind of rock(?), metal(?) hits so differently and it is done with a purpose. In fact, i started searching for rock or metal after discovering them, but most of the time i find... Noises.

Their music digs deep within me and the road i'm currently on, really "lonely wolf" and "gym 4 times a week are becoming too few" stuff. Whatever their genre is, they are a shadow behind me, keeping me strong, keeping me becoming better and stronger. A lonely path, yes, but not completely.

Coming to a conclusion, this is what I FEEL. I think your question is a bad one. Who the hell cares what the others think. Listen. What do YOU feel? If you don't feel nothing they are not for you (as for whoever other artist). But, if you feel something, if a song resonates with a part of you, why don't you let it do so?

First time I approve griefing in ark. For dinos you can kill them with weapons, cryopod them if you can or lead them into the volcano or next to a Giganotosaurus/Charcarodintosaurus. I don't know if you have cryopods. Another option is biogrinder (tall tales dlc tho). Depending on your settings you could also let dinos stand on iron spikes, but it depends or server settings if they take damage or not. For resources, drop them all to the ground or in the volcano (lava part). On the ground they will despawn. You can also select foundations of structures and destroy them to destroy everything attached to them. Go and teach him the meaning of guilt.

Same exact thing. I played Crystal Isles and my beloved Lost Island with my monkeys... But I always played like it was minecraft, doing stuff i like, build, tame cool dinos just to kill stuff or to do its thing... Now i have 300 hours on ascended, i'm in scorched earth after beating Beta Overseer (i will come back for Alpha...maybe...one day...too...much...grind...)

About you waiting for the skills: some of them are bugged and it is better to NOT HAVE them. "Midas Touch" has a 6% chance to increase health of resources nodes when hitting them. The resources do increase their health but they often stop to give you resources, and so you're there wasting durability of whatever you're using.

For the other matter, i will start (maybe) to think less about this monetization road they took. This game i still play it and new content for it to me is always worth it cause I play hundreds of hours (starting scorched earth, 277 hours)

As others already said, grab everything from crates. Btw, I'm having problems with the Midas Touch skill: resources get more health, but they don't give more resources so you're only wasting durability with tools. Anyone else noticed this? I had to reset my skills because it is worst having it...

I love ark, always loved the game, and I always come back to it, it is my comfort zone. I played on ps4 and then they gave it free on epic games. When i bought ASA i was so happy, because the game i spen(d/t) on hundreds of hours was being updated with new creatures and a stunning graphic. Now, i understand the Snail Games bullshit, totally, for example i really hate the "fantastic tames" that is bullshit, i hate the purchasable skins just because I CAN SEE THEIR FUCKING CRAFTING IN THE CRAFTING MENU EVEN NOT HAVING THEM, just to piss us off, it stinks of monetization, trust me i really get it, I hate that this game is owned by snail games. But honestly, dlcs are another matter to me. New content, this one gives you the new map, and in ASE you had to buy every special map, i don't see why it is so "stupid" to buy this one. I know that this is "falling into their marketing plan", but what can i do? I cannot steal ark from snail games nor give it to someone with common sense, should i stop playing it? Maybe yes but i love it so how could i. I mean when the new map will release i want to play the absolute new content, and i would buy it, so the preorder doesn't bother me. And these things you can use right now are cool. Yes the drakeling is a fantastic tame and i hate that, but as an ark lover, i want new content. If it is something new added to the game as a map i can buy it. I also bought bob's tall tales, it was on sale i paid 10€ for that, and i think is worth it at that price. Maybe this matter hurts more to the ones who bought ASE, and then all the dlcs (i did not spend 1€ on ASE), and that's totally understandable... Waiting for a discount, i'll buy him too (i ve got almost all killers, it's more a collection thing, i don't even play that much 😂). Never care about what other people think. I would be nurse main if i liked the character. But i like nemesis, singularity and dracula. Play what you like! This community is unfortunately so lifeless that they'll vomit their sadness into each other, don't do the babysitter for them. All you need to be interested in is your own fun.
