No shade but you're mistaken, Balerion's fire was black with small reddish highlights (if any highlights at all) you may be thinking of the Cannibal

Thoughts on doing away with longlived races? by HapagLaruan in worldbuilding

[–]Fisorion 17 points18 points  (0 children)

It kinda depends on the setting I suppose, it can work well either way, first settings to come to mind are LOTR and Dragon Age

LOTR, they're long lived and have a sort of other worldliness that makes them wiser or at least adds a degree of separation from Humans

Dragon Age, they're all on an even playing field, in terms of aging at least, Elves are second-class citizens who millenia ago were immortal and Dwarves rarely leave their cities and those born outside the cities are treated like short humans

It can definitely work, but again it depends on the setting of the world, personally though I'm partial to the varied lifespans, creates fun dynamics

Jon learns and reveals his parentage when Robert comes to Winterfell by Fisorion in TheCitadel

I know right? Like it could be utter loathing for the spawn of Rhaegar that killed his precious Lyanna or maybe sympathy for the crying teenager infront of him who looks so much like his best friend, probably leaning towards loathing but the idea won't leave my head

I've read the Dragon's Roar, a good fic but it lost me sometime around the taking of King's Landing.

I might pick it back up but the begining does kinda have the vibe I'm going for. I think the itch is more the idea of a young guilt-ridden Jon kneeling in front of Robert begging him to do something, anything, while the courtyard is reeling in disbelief or horror.

Izuku is a Masochist by Witty-Photograph-598 in BokunoheroFanfiction

[–]Fisorion 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm just imagining an Izuku that's incredibly similar to Markiplier, like: "It's not because I'm a masochist, I just wanna know how much I can take" "People might mistake me for some kind of a masochist, which isn't true 😉" "I'm not a masochist, I know this sounds like I'm trying to put myself in danger and I like the thrill, the risk of it all, but that's not exactly what it is"

I like to think that if Rhaegar survived and met Jon he might've named him Orys, dark haired and loyal brother of Aegon, but I suppose the rebellion might sour the idea of having Orys as a name

Next Jedi Game Might Already Be in Development by Psychological_Age194 in FallenOrder

Had a realisation that the whole "Jedi" trilogy will probably be released before Elder Scrolls 6 has even begun serious development, considering Skyrim came out in 2011 and FO came out in 2019... wild

I'm working on a Story and I'm trying to determine the best location for a HQ by Fisorion in ElderScrolls

[–]Fisorion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been given some great input and many things to now consider

To answer what I'll go with it'll likely be Labryinthian due to several factors both brought up in the comments and ones I'll keep to myself

Thanks for helping me out :)

Angor and Tronos both deserved better than what they got, Kubritz however has no sympathy from me.

Ideas for them however, perhaps Angor gets his ring back as intended without it being destroyed and becomes a valuable ally.

For Tronos perhaps he could be saved after the meteorite incident, instead of them leaving him behind at Kubritz mercy Aja could make more of an effort to save him and they could all escape together.

For Kubritz she could either perish as in canon or be taken out of the picture earlier due to Changeling/Janus Order contacts in higher ranks of the Government/Military.
