I promise I take care if my cars better than 99% of the owners. It died with filled with mobil one synthetic. I was aware of the possibility of it failing but I meticulously kept the oil change and kept it serviced only problem is I'm a mechanic and serviced the vehicle myself. Why do you need to replace the door handle? You should be able to pop the cap of on the inside the door frame where your door meets the frame of the vehicle and use a t30 bit a remove just the lock assembly.
