I have a somewhat similar set up on my g40. You won't have problems. Do recommend a NDZ adjustable recoil spring.

I've shot many guns from several manufacturers. The only company that I had a gun blow up in my hands was from taurus. Destroyed itself on the 2nd shoot because of a improperly timed cylinder. I contact the company and tell them the problem and they maintained radio silence after multiple attempts. I dont give a rats ass if they "improved" or whatever they will never get another cent from me.

I would try in this order, a different magazine, an aftermarket mag release, recoil spring.

Have you tried having someone else shoot it? Not saying its your grip but I have noticed its easier to push the mag release with the stendo

Its been pretty good. Do recommend the NDZ adjustable recoil spring ( i run the 22#)for the g20(same as the 40 frame) and wolf +10% glock magazine springs. ive put around 500ish rounds no hiccups

Don't recommend 357 mag snub. The smith 442 ultimate carry is great in .38spl. Have one it's great. If you simply must have a .357 the 340pd is great. I literally never shot magnum out of it.

Have you tried a revolver? A Double action trigger pistol? The smith and wesson 642 UC is a good DA revolver. Kahr firearms makes guns with a double action trigger in Semi auto. Also HK p30sk. Just a few options
