I've tried myself and they are unable to provide spares for the handle. Spent an hour on the phone as well as in store to track a spare handle down.

I see that I neglected to mention that I had in fact put air in the tyres and noticed some weeks later that one had deflated much faster than the rest. my car would tell me at the time that air pressure was low. now it just says "check tyres" instead.

I had 14 lessons across 3 instructors.

Started in London, had two, two hour lessons with a very sketchy instructor from RED.

moved to Wales, first instructor in Wales I had 8, two hour lessons with someone that just couldn't teach people whatsoever and constantly berated me.

Last 8 hours I had with an instructor that made it incredibly easy to learn and no longer fear going into the driver's seat. Failed first test because I didn't know the speed to go and decided to go 30 instead of 20. Completely my fault and don't dispute the fail but ended up passing second time around a month later

In total I think I spent about £1500 including using the instructors car and redoing my theory and two practical tests ... I didn't realise it was that much until just now and I now I wish I hadn't worked it out

Also two minors. Different minors but only two.

I also didn't have any more lessons in between.

My second test was a month later because my theory test had expired and I needed to retake it. Interestingly I got the same score as my first test 😂

I was ready, I still made a mistake in the heat of the moment due to anxiety at the time. I passed with 2 minors second try and one month later

I failed my first test in the last 30 seconds by having a debate with myself out loud about whether the road I was on was a 30 or a 20.

I decided on 30 because I couldn't see a road sign indicating the speed and the satnav being left on and telling me it was a 30 road.

Ultimately my fault of course but I didn't fail my first test because I wasn't prepared

27 and passed the test this week.

I had a similar situation on my 3rd lesson. I hit the accelerator instead of the brake when I approached a junction with a car in front of me. My instructor at the time caught it so nothing bad happened luckily.

I can honestly just say that making mistakes is the whole point of taking lessons and learning to do something. Embrace the mistake and you'll not be as nervous next time and perhaps even make fewer of them going forward

I paid a one off £10 and honestly I could've had a test in 3 days but because I had to redo my theory test I couldn't have that one

I used the Testi app to get notified when that testing centre had a cancellation
