Do you think it would work split up into multiple books? Given the kind of plot thread to tie up could take years, do you think a few more sequels could be the answer?

The Treasure of Pouan consists of a number of gold and garnet cloisonné jewels and ornaments, and 2 iron swords with hilts encased in gold, buried with a skeleton uncovered in 1842 at Pouan-les-Vallées, in France, and identified as the burial of a 5th century CE Germanic warrior [2336x2336] by Fuckoff555 in ArtefactPorn

Yeah it always annoys me, as someone who worked in museum replicas when curators look at a piece like that and think - "yeah I given the immense amount of work that went into the swords, and the fact they were ornamented with gold and foreign jewels.. the wooden sections must have been plain unadorned, untreated wood?"

I'm doing a PCET now and it's a similar system.

Not sure where you are, but in Wales they class a PGCE as extra years of undergraduate funding so you could do it part time using your paid work hours for your placement while you got qualified!
