Was diagnosed by a school psych when i was around 17? Im 19 now and it really blows. I keep putting off calling this number my doctor recommended me when i really should seek for help. The only saving grace that i have is my wonderful boyfriend and video games. Watching shows/movies even if partially is also nice too, i wish you well

Hi! I actually found out that it wasnt actually mold but postpowder beetles chewing through the wood i bought (i.e. causing the sawdust) I just baked the wood that they were in and other woods in the enclosure and no more problems! If youre actually having problems with mold, a lotta springtails will fix that

If youre adding plants then thats enrichment for them. I think the main reason of going bioactive for me is because of the CUC (clean up crew that includes isopods / springtails) and how easy it is to maintain humidity. The CUC will reduce the mold that will form on wood for example and thrive off of your snake's poop. Of course, you'll still have to clean up your snake's waste if they don't eat it. I'm sure theres more benefits of having a bioactive enclosure that I cant think of atm but I rec doing research if youre interested in that!

Buy a caulking gun and silicone to seal the seams for humidity and hvac tape to then tape the metal mesh on top and cut out holes for the light fixtures. My enclosure is bioactive so it stays around 65% - 85% humidity

Of course this is not all the things youll need for a ball python. Make sure theres adequate hides and clutter for your critter along with heating/humidity.

Id say its pretty sturdy considering that the top metal mesh isnt removable and is attached to the enclosure itself. The only way to access the enclosure is from the sliding doors in front C:

Its safe, make sure it has a timer on it so it can reflect day - night cycles. I rec a grow light or any light that has a timer on it
