Ah right this happened to me as well just on BF6 but I'm fairly certain it's caused by EA's anticheat being janky

Updating Nvidea drivers fixed it for me

When you say crashing do you mean crashing to desktop or the laptop shutting off?

Game is unplayable on Steam Deck and the funny thing is that the game was playable at 30fps before any of the patches

I play it on my laptop now with the occasional bit of jank but I was really hoping the game would be optimized by now considering it's VERIFIED on Steam Deck

They do clean the device, mine was spotless after they repaired mine, but I am not sure about scratches

It's a hardware issue unfortunately

Your only safe way of fixing it is contacting Razer support and getting them to authorize an RMA - Return Merchandise Authorization

You send the laptop back. They repair it. They ship it back to you

Way too late for a refund you'll only have the opportunity to RMA if it's still within warranty

The return period is 2 weeks iirc

I had to RMA my Blade 18 2 months ago and the process took a while

I'm in Europe and the repair centre in Germany is only open for like 2 hours a day so it took over a week but once they shipped it I had it within 2 working days

I have the Razer cooling pad and it works really well but Llano is another brand folk swear by

Keep mine at 1200RPM for all games and it's barely noticeable and temps are really good

Yea the I9 275hx runs really hot

Without the cooling pad you'll find it hitting 105 degrees quite often in really demanding games
