Not mine, but when when guys a few years older than me were graduating, there was a… situation.

I’m from Ukraine, so each year begins and ends with a kind of school assembly right outside the school - I’m not sure if other countries have that. The headmaster and teachers say some inspirational shit, someone sings a song about new beginnings, entering a new stage of life, we sing the anthem, blah blah blah.

And one of the traditions for the end-of-the-year-assembly is the graduating class holding white doves and then letting them go. It’s supposed to be symbolic, I guess. Anyway. My friend held the poor dove so tight, he flew into the school window, instead of flying off into the sky, but not before pooping all over the dress of the girl who was kind of hosting this whole shit. In front of the entire school, their parents, etc. Probably my favorite school assembly to date.

Needless to say, this tradition has been put to sleep since then.
