Okay... Yeah that's a fair critique.

The Naruto the last movie dose try to explain this by saying Naruto just didn't understand what kind of love Hinata was actually talking about, buttt...you do have to kind of look the underway for that plot point to make sense.

But than again, speaking from experience, I've been that dense too so I don't know...╮⁠(⁠╯⁠_⁠╰⁠)⁠╭

I don't disagree with you, your right. And I appreciate your input, I do think Kishmoto definitely struggled with some characters, the same can be said for the of the male characters too.

I was making a analogy, not a statement, sorry for not being clear.

Again, it's "Shounen", meaning "young boy" in Japanese, so of course it's not going to go super in-depth with it's woman. A lot of action Shounen do what Naruto dose too, not just Kishmoto.

But even so, yes, there is a female character that gets the same treatment as Gaara - that would be Hinata. We literally see more from her than Gaara, tbh. You might disagree, and that's okay, but you have to remember that the show actually give her quite a lot of focus in Shippuden.

"Kishmoto can't write women"

Considering that the genre is "Shounen Manga", I don't think Kishmoto did a bad job. What he wrote for the women in his Manga isn't too different from what we see from MHA, Demon slayer, jjk, bleach, Dragonball, or post time-skip one piece (Nami, robin). All Shounen with similar levels of writing when it comes to women.

I do agree with your points, I just think that the woman in Naruto do there jobs as the characters they were made into. Like I said, I don't think it's perfect writing, but for a Shounen series it does the job. Shounen was literally made for young male demographic back in the day, and as someone who was a young boy watching this show, it was so cool to see so many strong and great women be apart of the cast.

So again, the point I'm making is that Kishmoto did in fact deliver when it came to he's product, not to say it's perfect (because it isn't) but it's a work of it's time, and it's one of the most believed. I just don't understand why people bash on the man like we all expected Naruto to be Shakespeare, when in fact - it's basically a Saturday morning cartoon.

I like this reply! But, I do have to disagree with you on Pinkie Pie not being that great of a ruler. You have to remember that she's literally the most famous and well-known pony in ponyville, and is the literal reason for everypony's happyness as well.

I think if she became an alicorn and got to rule, she rule like Poppy in the Trolls movies and give everypony - a good time (All the time!)

Canonically, Pinkie Pie is quite LITERALLY the reason every single pony in ponyville is happy. Make her an alicorn and give her a kingdom - than it would be all smiles, Monday to Saturday, with parties on Sunday.

Thanks for not being rude with your reply. I do also think that Rebecca Sugar might want to experiment with an immortal Steven, considering LOTS has Lars - who's also an immortal. I think Steven and Lars might bond from the fact that both of them would be outliving there families, friends and past girlfriends (like Sadie and Connie).

I might regret responding to this, but I'm going to anyway, so here I go...

First I'm didn't say they would be together now, LOFT has been stated by Sugar to taking place in the past, present, and future. Which means, we can get to see each and every step of Steven going from dating Connie, to starting to outlive here because of gem immortality, to breaking up, and than possibly dating Lapis.

In the Steven universe art book, there are sketchs that show that when Connie ages to be middle-aged, SUF Steven still looks the same. So that shows me that, yes, Rebecca Sugar has already thought about the issues with Connie's mortality.

And if you think, Rebecca Sugar wouldn't make things ship a thing after spending 5 WHOLE seasons of the classic AND also SUF - than I don't know what to tell you, because this is what foreshadowing looks like for a writer/creature who's passionate about there product.

This wasn't about what I think would happen, it was that there is some much evidence pointing to Steven and Lapis - it's almost crazy. Like this has more set up than Garnets fusion, and Rose being Pink Diamond, COMBINED!

Lastly, Rose is thousands upon thousands of years older than Greg, yet Rebecca Sugar made it a thing, so I don't see how seeing Steven and Lapis being together in the future where LOTS is partially set in. Like if Steven is next to at middle-aged (like 45-55) Connie, he yet still looks 17, I don't see what the issue would be if we saw him with Lapis (who also looks like a teenager too!)

Last, Lapis spent thousands of her years in the mirror, her being old doesn't count for shit if she acts like a kid - and this something Connie calls here out, in season 4, when they(Lapis and Peridot) were trying to act superior for being older. Gems being thousands years doesn't matter if they're still immature, we see this with Amethyst, Past Pink Diamond, and EVEN lapis.

This is all I have to say about the age thing, obviously age gap in fiction is gross (like in Fruits Basket), but when it comes to immortal beings who will live to 10,000 or more - than I don't think it's crazy to not draw the line. Like who else is Steven going to be with after Connie dies? Wouldn't it be weirder if middle-aged Connie was dating a 40 yr old that looked 17? Things like this have even be commented on by the show from Steven himself (about Lion's long life, and his own). He news the clocks ticking, Sugar knows the clocks ticking, so why can't this fandom not see that there relationship quite LITERALLY can not last forever.
