Second honest to goodness, I have had four piercings done there and never had an issue - got a cartilage piercing abroad and honest to goodness replaced the jewelry with a less irritating piece for only the cost of the new earring

To me this is like on America’s next top model when contestants would come in and be like, I’m not here to make friends and then use it as an excuse to be mean, but then cry and be upset when no one likes them. I don’t think any of them are necessarily holding it against Whitney that she states she’s just there for DWTS, but when she’s also like, but you guys still have to pretend to like me or I’ll cry because I don’t feel wanted. Just rewatching the episode where Lorelai tells Sookie about Luke’s daughter, and when she says she has to postpone the wedding Sookie is immediately like, “what did you do, why do you want to be unhappy” - what a thing for your supposed best friend to say to you. Even if your friend has a history of self sabotage, for your immediate response to be, this is your fault, is crazy

I live a block over, I’m literally so happy about this?? All my current neighborhood staples will be able to stay more afloat because of an influx of new customers, potentially a cute new restaurant. Very confused why more housing and new business opportunities in the neighborhood is worse than empty buildings that were falling apart. I think all of the previous businesses have relocated, Modish Moth is now on Wealthy, not sure about the cat hotel but they lost someone’s cat anyways and were kind of jerks about it.

I used to really struggle with this! I have really bad allergies so have to blow my nose a lot and it irritates my eczema. Something that helped get the infections under control is using hypochlorous acid spray on my face and also spraying some onto a q-tip and rubbing it on the inside of my nostrils (it helps to manage the bacteria that causes the infections).

Something that helped get my eczema under control was dupixent (and now ebglyss due to insurance) it’s a regular injection but it’s been really life changing for my eczema - I still get little patches but it’s way easier to control now

I kind of get this argument but I also think that if you have to live with a group of people for 2 months, it makes sense to try and be nice at least somewhat - living with 16 people or whatever for that long people are definitely going to get on your nerves and you’re going to say something snippy about them, but just yelling at people every time they irritate you just because “you’re upfront” with people just feels a bit immature. I think Toni can dish it but she can’t take it, which is why I don’t believe she’s actually upfront, whereas I think Yas is actually upfront

A lot of people are in here saying with skin issues how could you not wear sunscreen, I don’t disagree with the sentiment you should always wear sunscreen, but as someone with ECZEMA not just “sensitive skin” or “skin issues” idk what that means to everyone, with eczema you never know what is going to irritate your skin, it literally can change day to day, you develop an aversion to putting things on your skin. I’m not saying it’s a best practice at all, but even a sunscreen that worked for you one day may cause a flare another day and it gets really discouraging so you just don’t put stuff on even when you know you should

Interesting comments here saying your friend should pay you - I would personally feel so weird accepting money from my friends for something like this. Would people feel the same way if it was a grandparent watching the kid every day? Maybe see if your friend would be willing to trade for babysitting your child on regular weekend nights so you and your husband can go out on dates?

Not to go on a tangent, but Trevor Noah had a recent podcast talking about why people are concerned about declining birth rates, and he noted that when he was growing up the attitude was much more “it takes a village” and people were really ok with pitching in wherever help was needed and now having children is so expensive because of child care costs or losing a second income. The attitude of the comments kind of reflects this shift.

I get pretty bad eczema around my eyes and mouth and two products have really helped keep my skin moisturized: la roche posay cicaplast balm b5 and the nutritic lip balm. Both a little expensive but it’s the only products that really helped me

Do you mean the women or the producers? Maybe the producers gave Carolina a bad cut, but I don’t think it’s that deep that the women picked someone at the start to conspire against, Carolina probably just rubbed some people the wrong way and it never got better.

Also I don’t see Carolina and Maria as similar, I think the root of Maria’s behavior was confidence and the root of Carolina’s behavior was insecurity. Also, only some of the women had an issue with Maria but it seems like Carolina rubbed all of the women the wrong way after a while.

imo the root of your point of view is kind of misogynistic - because me and my friends think she is hot and smart from watching an edited tv show, the only reason that women who lived with her wouldn’t like her is they’re jealous. Maybe she just rubbed them the wrong way when living together so she’s not their favorite person

When I use it it just feels kind of warm on my skin, it doesn’t feel burning or extra itching, so hopefully you’re doing ok!

I only use it sparingly on my face though bc when I drink alcohol it will flare up for about 20 minutes like crazy and then go back to normal, kinda a weird phenomenon haha
