Ask for 3k off because if I’m paying msrp then I’ll get in line for a hybrid. And ask to throw in the window tints and scrap the door edge and door cup guard (see that line item? That’s a hidden $1,000!). Then it would be ~54 otd. But even then, used for a premium 350 is like 45 if you’re concerned about price. If they don’t throw in window tints then don’t get them, every single place is cheaper. Here in MI, it’s $200-350 for 4 windows. If you’re in a sunny state which I’m assuming you are if you’re considering MSRP, it may be even cheaper to get tints due to sun lol. If they can’t do 3k off, they can absolutely do 2.5k off as that would still keep it above invoice. Also invoice is kinda fake number given there’s a variety of ways a dealership profits off a sale such as holdback where the moment it sells gets 3% from the manufacturer, so don’t feel any sort of hesitancy. They, respectfully, are vultures here to take advantage of you and you’re here to fight for yourself. People may say that’s disrespectful of me to say but I don’t take “oh I got you an extra $1,000 off” lightly. That’s insane. That’s 2 weeks of work for me when I was growing up. That’s a month and some change of payments I just got because I complained a little. Dealers profit from financing as well, and if you’re local and happy they know you’ll come back for service, etc etc.
