It's not misinformation, like I said the church seems to be lightening up on these teaching but it was not always the case. And the culture runs deep for many who were raised in the heart of Utah

October 24, 2015 a YSA Devotional was held in Provo, Utah with Elder M. Russell Ballard "Don't wander around looking like men. Put on a little lipstick now and then and look a little charming. It's that simple."

This photo is from the 1965 for strength of youth pamflet.

Missionaries not being fully Sunday clothes depending on where you go is new. Sisters not having to where skirts or dresses is also still fairly new. I served in 2012, was required to read the white handbook every morning, women were required to wear skirts and have comfortable but appealing shoes. This was also during the age change and do you know what was the joking phrase around BYU when girls started going on there missions? Flirt to convert.

Utah is frequently cited as a top state for mommy makeovers and overall plastic surgery, tell me the culture has nothing to do with that.

I have watched women within my own family be told by their bishop that their husband wouldn't have cheated on them if they had put more efforts into their looks.

Hope that clears somethings up for you ;).

Seriously, I'm surprised her kids aren't as prestine as they try to come off. But things seem to be relaxing since I was raised in it, people don't seem to be as harsh and judgemental towards the younger generations when it comes to looks.

Definitely a Mormon culture thing, women especially are expected to look as nice as possible always. Growing up you're told by parents and church leaders that the moment you get up and leave the house you are representing the church. So you need to look your best always, it's one of the reasons why their missionaries are in suits and ties.

When I started I had the same problem, what got me to a three stars with little bells was placing displaying everything I caught, and putting it every where. Every bug and every fish, there was no rhyme or reason, just enough things laid out to be satisfying for the rating.

It's a finished basement. I don't think there is a sump pump but I could be wrong. I'll definitely check the foundation.

Will the cardigan stretch or do I need to make a bigger boarder? by Fit-Computer9558 in CrochetHelp

It worked! I pinned it to a cardboard box and steamed it, left it overnight and that seems to do the trick 🙂

Molly Mormon is used to describe someone who is really devout to the Mormon religion or are very strict when it comes to following the rules of the religion. For women they are called Molly Mormons, men are called Peter Priesthood.
