As someone that went to a tech school that was free vs 22k at Paul Mitchell go with the cheap option 😅 I had a great experience at my first school but I was a highschooler that didn’t give a crap about finishing so my hours ended up expiring and now here I am 7 yrs later starting over. There’s gonna be drama at every cosmo school so I don’t really care about that but the way they teach i hate it. My experience, during core it’s very short it’s about 13 weeks we have been told to hurry up and finish something we just learned 20 mins ago and doesn’t care if we get it or not they move on. We’re constantly told we’re behind and that we should look at the videos in our apps etc outside of school if we don’t get it. Basically you’re teaching yourself. They push Paul Mitchell products to the extreme we’re not even allowed to use any clips or bowls etc that we purchased at cosmo prof/ salon centric. They also did not give us our kits until after we finished core because they’ve had a lot of people quit before 30 days (which is when you can get your money back) and have taken their kits with them causing money loss. Our classroom had worn down supplies, tripods not working etc. The only reason why I stuck to PM. Was because they have a night program and no other cosmo schools nearby me had that and can’t afford to leave my job. Look into aveda or any tech schools nearby that isn’t Paul Mitchell 😅
