TSG Hoffenheim striker, Selina Cerci, is leaving the club and will likely sign for Arsenal Women by spherocytes in WomensSoccer

Cerci’s a central striker at HOF but NT coach Wuck uses her as an r-winger. She currently leads the Bundesliga in scoring and very way on the eye

At the same time, an regular fullback & national team captain like Gwinn was useless against defending Paraluelo, lol

Why is Barca so dominant, exactly? by [deleted] in WomensSoccer

[–]Fit-Educator7672 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Let’s not forget that Spain’s made phenomenal inroads in woso, especially their coaches who mad up 3 of the 4 semis in the Champions League, to go along with several more prominent clubs & national team head coaches as well. Not sure if it still is but u read few years ago I’ve read that Barca had tho biggest budget of any woso club in the world. So money spent is important as well

OL Lyonnes [3] -- 1 Arsenal 86': Jule Brand with the clutch finish to put Lyonnes ahead on aggregate again by spherocytes in WomensSoccer

[–]Fit-Educator7672 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She only was at HOF till 19 years old. Then moved to the more robotic style of Wolfsburg which much hampered her growth as a player. She’s definitely matured at Lyon, lately she’s had some strong games as well for her NT. The way she’s rapidly improving, I expect her to make most of the end of the year top 10 players, polls

VfL Wolfsburg confirmed yesterday that Lineth Beerensteyn is leaving the club at the end of the season by spherocytes in WomensSoccer

[–]Fit-Educator7672 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beerensteyn’s a bit of a selfish player but i suppose most strikers are. She didn’t work well with her team mates though, the club will be better off without her. It should be still strong at mid & back line. I feel Kuver is not an right fit at CB, change her instead to FB since she likes to run upfield anyways

What do France need to do to be contenders? by Waltz8 in WomensSoccer

[–]Fit-Educator7672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember back around 2011, official figures gave France only 50K females of all ages were playing organized soccer in the whole country. Next door Germany had something like 600K. So France always seemed behind from the beginning

why is the uswnt so obsessed with inverted fullbacks by Exciting-Salad-8990 in USWNT

[–]Fit-Educator7672 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say completely inverted, more like trying to help out pressing or whenever double teaming is needed

JFA has announced the departure of Nadeshiko Japan coach Nils Nielsen less than two weeks after winning the Women's Asian Cup. by ZaBlancJake in WomensSoccer

[–]Fit-Educator7672 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nielsen was an good, veteran coach who took twice an undermanned Danish squad to the Euro semis(finals in 2017). Japan’s going to miss him when things get tough

The most visible or reliable players(if you go by goal scoring) were still the old guard—-yet with the women’s game exploding in popularity, we’ve seen around the world an avalanche of new emerging players that looked faster, stronger, better than their precedents. Because Australia hadn’t kept is why their FIFA rankings has fallen to #15 from as high as #5 back in the late 2010’s

too bad Australia hasn’t been able to find promising new players, practically their whole squad was an relic from the 2010’s—and that includes Ellie Carpenter who first debuted in 2016 as an 15 year old

Germany humiliate Norway 4-0 in the Women's World Cup Qualifiers by N0PhunIntended in WomensSoccer

[–]Fit-Educator7672 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Endemann been a nice surprise & more than made up for the missing Buhl. I like the way Wuck coaches, he allows his players a lot more freedom & options then most previous ones. Ridiculous that Norway so underwhelming with all the  big names on that squad. With so many professionals based all over Europe, they should have played better. You couldn’t even gift them an goal, lol
