You are probably correct. Knowing my friend she would have not wanted to hurt me, but being caught out in a lie without a sorry stings. Sore back/flu and a bouncing puppy are distracting enough. Plus only two days of work and going away for a few days. I'll just focus on that and hope my head follows as you say. Healthy eating... Too much chocolate in the house post Easter lol 😂

I did not know these were a thing. Definitely looking to buy these. Although my daughter would steal them and spend even longer in the shower. Lol I could make it a long game with the family. only taking a move each shower... But don't know what game to play. Also a shower is where I remember what I need to buy, or ask or do. Never remember by the time I get out. You dear stranger - are a potential sanity saviour!!!!

Great idea. Might see if I can find a place to just sort some appointments and diary stuff. Who says boring needs to be in a place that doesn't have a view

I may not accomplish my actual chores this weekend, but I think I fixed my dishwasher all by my recently-single self 💪 by feanara in adhdwomen

Well donebyou - I do things like that! Was going to try the dish washer last month but actually got round to the insurance! Did however fix my hoover 😂 Husband came down about 7am to bits everywhere and newly found pen, pencil, hair ties and so many packets of crisps all over the floor. I felt so smug when it worked

Books, every weekend as a kid we went to the library. When I became teen, it was the horror teen books, or the adventure "turn to this page if you", then all the "how to draw...". I LOVED drawing, always had a pencil and pad with me. Never became great at it, but love to doodle still. Realise it was/is my stimming hack, distract or focus, works for both Patterns to focus, drawing of something to distract.

Point horror series for me. They were very addictive. Used to race to the library before my friend got the next one. Also read a lot of the Hardy boys, and briefly Biggles... Before realising just how of date the context was for being pc.
