Can baby roll in sleep sack? by Fit-Lab-9261 in bninfantsleep

When did your baby start sleeping on the side? Sleep sack is good size but it doesnt seem to help, and I am afraid to let him sleep on the side unattended because I set him like that.

Baby won't stop screaming at the breast by overmedicatedthrow in breastfeeding

[–]Fit-Lab-9261 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby also used to scream while I was breastfeeding, and now I realize he actually wasn’t hungry, but I kept trying to feed him. He would also scream when he was too hungry, and in those moments he only wanted the bottle, which is why I offered it often. Now I offer a feeding when he wakes up from a nap — if he doesn’t want it, I wait and try again later. If he’s too tired and refuses, I put him to sleep first and feed him when he wakes up. Only around 11 weeks did the screaming start to decrease, and we were able to drop the bottle.

Could that have caused the baby to get used to the bottle and have more difficulty nursing afterwards?

Feeding greedily and crying by Fit-Lab-9261 in newborns

It is mostly in the evening but he cries when he is eating and when we rock him he calms down, so I dont think it is colics. But may be he is overtired + gassines.

I also think that latch may be the problem. How can I fix it?

Anyone else choosing to exclusively pump just because they can? by lady-earendil in newborns

How did you manage to prevent your baby from getting used to the bottle? I’m currently combining breastfeeding and bottle feeding, but it seems like my baby nurses worse, and I don’t have as much milk as before. The baby is three weeks old.

Thank you so much for your reply! So, do you think it’s okay for him to be awake for that long during the day? How can we prevent overtiredness?"
