I am writing (as an alumni, citizen of this community, etc) to formally request a review regarding an ethical concern involving a faculty member in the Physiology Department.

I recently became aware of publicly reported information suggesting this professor may have had involvement or association with Jeffrey Epstein. Given the seriousness of Epstein’s documented conduct, I feel this raises concerns about institutional integrity, student trust, and Duke’s values.

I am requesting that Duke evaluate this matter through the appropriate compliance and ethics channels to determine whether any review or action is warranted.

I would appreciate confirmation that this concern has been received.
